CCR/CTE December
Highlights for December
8th to 9th grade Transition Visits:
As part of pre-registration, 8th grade students will be visiting high school campuses during the months of December and January. Santa Teresa High School will host Santa Teresa Middle School on December 9th; Chaparral High School will host Chaparral Middle School students on December 6th & 8th and Gadsden High School will host Gadsden Middle School on January 24th, 25th and 26th. During these campus visits, 8th grade students will get to experience a little of what the high schools have to offer. The focus will be on exploring different CTE pathways, clubs/organizations and sports. This opportunity will encourage students to gain an understanding of the processes associated with an average day in the life of a high school student.

Perkins Spending:
The time to order using Perkins funds is now. In order to receive orders before deadlines, CTE staff must make final orders utilizing Perkins funds before the winter break commences. Remember, for orders of a single item over a certain amount require two or more quotes before approval will be granted. Speak with your campus book keepers or contact Mr. Encina for additional support if needed.
