Imagine-Chancellor Chargers
November 2024 Newsletter
Every Charger. Every Day. Whatever it Takes.
Dear Imagine-Chancellor Families,
As we enter November, I'm delighted to reflect on a fantastic start to the school year. Our first quarter and first trimester were filled with growth and accomplishments, and I’m proud of the hard work and dedication shown by our students, staff, and families alike. A special thank you goes out to everyone who made our Fall Festival such a success! The enthusiasm and family involvement truly brought our community together in a meaningful way.
This month, we’re focusing on three essential character strengths: integrity, bravery, and gratitude. Integrity reminds us to be honest and do the right thing, even when it’s challenging. Bravery encourages us to step outside our comfort zones and face challenges head-on. And gratitude helps us appreciate each other and the support we share within our school community.
In everything we do, we continue to reinforce our school's core values of "Always Being A Charger":
- Caring
- Honest
- Accountable
- Respectful
- Grateful
- Empathetic
- Responsible
I invite you to continue supporting and discussing these values at home, as they form the foundation for lifelong learning and character development. Let’s make this month one of appreciation and positive impact as we work together to nurture well-rounded and resilient students. Thank you for all that you do, and I look forward to seeing even more amazing progress in the months to come!
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
With much love and appreciation,
Ms. Standley
Principal

Veterans Day Celebration
Imagine-Chancellor students will be honoring our veterans by participating in a school wide activity on Veterans Day.
We are asking for our Imagine-Chancellor family to submit a picture of their favorite veteran so we can honor their service to our country. Please submit your photo(s) to the following email: veterans.honored@imagine-chancellor.com no later than Thursday, Nov. 7th.
We would also like to honor some of our Imagine-Chancellor veterans and active military members at our Veterans Day celebration on Monday, November 11th. If you have a family member that is an active member of the military or has served in our armed forces, we would like to invite them to our celebration. If interested, please contact Alyssa.barratt@imagine-chancellor.com for more details.
Absence Procedures
Your child’s academic and social progress is influenced to a great extent by regular participation in school. Regular attendance without tardiness is the key.
When your child will be absent from school, please send an email to
chancellorattendance@imagine-chancellor.com. In the email provide your child's first and last name, grade level, and teacher along with the reason why they are absent. Please attach any doctor's note or other pertinent information related to the absence. You can also send in a note with your child upon their return to school. If you do not report the absence within 48 hours your child will receive an “unexcused absence.” You must do this process for each day your child is absent.
We encourage you to schedule your child’s appointments after school hours. If this is not possible, parent/guardians must come to the main office first to have their child released. Office personnel will notify the classroom teacher to inform the teacher that your child needs to report to the office. For your child’s safety, the teacher will not release a child to anyone who has not signed them out at the office. Office personnel will not release a child to anyone not listed on the Emergency Contact Card, unless the school is notified by the parent in writing in advance.
Research has shown that there is a strong correlation between attendance and achievement in school. Therefore, our attendance policy will be strictly enforced in accordance with the Palm Beach County Attendance Policy.
Pre-Enrollment Window Nov. 1st- March 1st.
Imagine-Chancellor implements the lottery process to acquire new students. If you know someone who is interested in their child(ren) becoming Imagine-Chancellor student(s), they must complete a pre-enrollment form and submit it prior to the deadline. If submitted by the deadline, their child(ren) will be included in the lottery process.
If your child's sibling will be entering Kindergarten or another grade level and wish to attend Imagine-Chancellor for the 2025-2026 school year, please ensure you complete a pre-enrollment form.
The deadline to submit a pre-enrollment form for the 2025-2026 school year is March 1st, 2025. The lottery for the 2025-2026 school year will be held at Imagine-Chancellor on March 10th, 2025.

K News
This month, we celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by looking into the beautiful Hispanic culture from the important history and key events. Our class highlighted four students from Colombia, Mexico, Cuba, and Uruguay. Each student joined groups based on their backgrounds to create Hispanic posters with their families. We did research within each each group by looking at facts, and maps, and identifying and coloring their flags. We enjoyed their presentations and appreciated the time and effort their families dedicated to making the Hispanic Heritage Posters.
3rd News
Imagine Chancellor celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15). Each grade chose a different Spanish-speaking country. Our third graders learned about the beautiful country of Mexico! Each third-grade class focused on a different topic such as: holidays, food, traditions, clothing and language. We also compared and contrasted their celebrations and traditions to our own. We had so much fun learning about Mexico!
Fall Festival
Thank you to our outstanding PTSA for organizing our AMAZING Fall Festival. Additionally, we would like to thank all of the families who decorated a trunk and everyone who came out to this event. We loved to see all of the smiling faces and positive energy throughout this event.
