Welcome Back! It’s SPRING! Guess what? We are kicking off our “AttenDANCE” awards season. Students who are in attendance every day from March 24th- April 24th will be able to join us for the Spring Dance! Please see our Parent Support Specialist message below for more details.
This Wednesday, March 26th we are hosting our third community building modernization (CAT) meeting. This meeting is virtual and parents will receive the meeting access code via email. If you attend, your child(ren) will enjoy “Popsicles with the Principals”. Mrs. Booe and I will host grade level popsicle party and chat about the new building. Names MUST BE documented in the virtual meeting chat.
Remember that there is NO SCHOOL on March 31st as we celebrate Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta Day!

¡Bienvenidos de nuevo! ¡Ya es PRIMAVERA! ¿Adivinen qué? Damos inicio a nuestra temporada de premios "AttenDANCE". Los estudiantes que asistan todos los días del 24 de marzo al 24 de abril podrán unirse al Baile de Primavera. Para más detalles, consulten el mensaje de nuestra Especialista de Apoyo para Padres a continuación.
Este miércoles 26 de marzo celebraremos nuestra tercera reunión de modernización de edificios comunitarios (CAT). Esta reunión es virtual y los padres recibirán el código de acceso por correo electrónico. Si asisten, sus hijos disfrutarán de "Paletas con los directores". La Sra. Booe y yo organizaremos una fiesta de paletas por grado y charlaremos sobre el nuevo edificio. Los nombres DEBEN estar registrados en el chat de la reunión virtual.
Recuerden que NO HAY CLASES el 31 de marzo, ya que celebramos el Día de César Chávez y Dolores Huerta.

Pride week is one of the many ways we highlight the district's commitment to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all.
Why it matters: When students feel safe and can show up as their full selves at school, they’re better able to engage in learning and thrive academically.
What to expect: This year's celebration is March 24–28 and the theme is beYOUtiful:
- Monday - All are welcome! Post, share, or display student work, pictures, and items that represent your family, things you're proud of, and what makes you feel connected.
- Tuesday - Differences are beYOUtiful! Wacky socks day! Wear something fun that expresses your unique and awesome self.
- Wednesday - I am beYOUtiful! Wear something that makes you feel beautiful, confident, and proud of who you are.
- Thursday - Our community is beYOUtiful! Mix It Up Lunch! Take the opportunity to sit with new people and celebrate our diverse community.
- Friday - All the colors! Each grade level wears a different color or school spirit gear. Don’t forget to snap a picture of all your beYOUtiful colors!
La Semana del Orgullo es una de las muchas maneras en que destacamos el compromiso del distrito con la creación de un entorno seguro, solidario e inclusivo para todos.
Por qué es importante: Cuando los estudiantes se sienten seguros y pueden mostrarse plenamente en la escuela, tienen mayor capacidad para participar en el aprendizaje y prosperar académicamente.
Qué esperar: La celebración de este año es del 24 al 28 de marzo y el tema es beYOUtiful:
- Lunes: ¡Todos son bienvenidos! Publiquen, compartan o muestren trabajos, fotos y artículos de sus estudiantes que representen a su familia, cosas de las que se sientan orgullosos y lo que los conecta.
- Martes: ¡Las diferencias son beYOUtiful! ¡Día de calcetines extravagantes! Ponte algo divertido que exprese tu personalidad única e increíble.
- Miércoles: ¡Soy beYOUtiful! Ponte algo que te haga sentir hermosa, segura y orgullosa de quién eres.
- Jueves: ¡Nuestra comunidad es beYOUtiful! ¡Almuerzo Mix It Up! Aprovecha la oportunidad para sentarte con gente nueva y celebrar nuestra diversa comunidad.
- Viernes - ¡Todos los colores! Cada grado viste un color diferente o ropa escolar. ¡No olviden tomar una foto de todos sus hermosos colores!
Central Texas Food Bank - Social Services
The Central Texas Food Bank’s social services team is continuing to assist clients with applying for SNAP (along with Medicaid, TANF, Healthy Texas Women, Medicare Savings Program, CHIP and CHIP Perinatal). We offer help with applications remotely and on-site. Our offices are located at 6500 Metropolis Drive, Austin, Texas 78744.
For the safety of our staff and the community we serve, we have implemented social distancing models and can see a limited number of clients at one time on-site at the Food Bank. To get help with applications on-site, please call our hotline to make an appointment first at 855-366-3401.
