UGA Testing Center Updates
- UTS is still proctoring the majority of UGA-based exams remotely, though students can email them at uts@uga.edu if they have a need to take an exam in person. Please continue to urge students to test early. Trish is happy to answer questions—you can reach her at the general Testing Services email address, uts@uga.edu.
Here’s a breakdown of exams by proctoring method:
Remote through ELC/ Respondus Monitor
- Spanish placement
- French placement
- English placement
- Grady Written Statement of Interest
- Engineering Personal Statement of Purpose
Remote through ELC/Zoom
- Graduation requirement exams (history and constitution)
- Terry accounting exam
- ETS Proficiency Profile
In-Person in Clark Howell Hall
- Math placement
- All other language placement
- The Prometric center is open at half capacity and UTS is hosting professional exams, comps, and the like in-person.

Advising Student Athletes - Brown Bag Information Webinar
The AACC Advising Student Athlete Committee is soliciting questions from advisors related to student athletes' concerns. Topics might include things like:
- Minimum enrollment hours required for SA’s
- Limited availability to enroll in afternoon/early evening classes
- Course loads based on in-season or not in-season
If you'd like to ask the committee a question, please email Kathy Bolt (kabolt@uga.edu) before the end of this week.

Reminder Virtual Study Away Fair, Tuesday, September 15th, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Students can register to sign up for group sessions (for 30 minutes) and 1:1 sessions (for 10 minutes) with UGA program directors, study abroad programs from universities and organizations around the world, and global education advisors.

Attention Incoming First Year and Transfer Students: Find a Peer Ally!
Through DawgsTogether, incoming first-year and transfer students can interact with a Peer Ally through individual or group sessions, or by joining a workshop. How students engage is up to them! Student sign-ups begin on September 11th.

University Judiciary
- Applications are now open for membership in University Judiciary! University Judiciary is the student-run organization that conducts formal hearings for students who allegedly violate the Code of Conduct. We work collaboratively with the Office of Student Conduct to ensure a fair conduct process at UGA. University Judiciary is also charged with proactively educating the University community about their rights as students as well as about the conduct process itself. This organization is a great way to serve the campus and community, and members gain leadership experience and critical thinking skills through their work with University Judiciary. We strongly encourage you to apply!
