Bluejacket Family Communication
June 12, 2024
Dear Bluejacket Families
On behalf of our entire Bluejacket Staff, thank you for the privilege of educating your children. It was rewarding to see our students celebrate their learning and growth before closing out the 2023-2024 school year. We appreciate your partnership and your support.
Your feedback about this school year is important to us. Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts. We send our Family Survey every two years and use your feedback to improve. The survey starts with the school your youngest child attends and invites you to give feedback on all your schools. We will share the survey results with each school leadership team, the School Board, our Strategic Planning Team, and our community.
Have a fun-filled, reading-filled, learning-filled, active summer! Enjoy the great outdoors!
Nate Rudolph
Superintendent
Summer Construction
The following parking lot improvement projects will be underway this summer and may limit access to some schools. We apologize for any inconvenience. We are working to improve safety and extend the useful life of our grounds.
High School —The west parking lot will be replaced and closed for the majority of the summer; 123 parking spots are being added to the site. Other parking lots will be open for activities and school access. The high school track will be resurfaced, limiting use for a period of time.
Isanti Middle School will be closed all summer. Parking lots will be redesigned, and reconstruction will be done to improve traffic flow and safety.
Cambridge Middle School — The west parking lot will remain open, allowing access to the building. The south parking lot will be under construction all summer to improve traffic flow and safety.
Sidewalks — Various sidewalks will undergo construction throughout the summer, which may require alternate entrances to buildings at times.
All Schools — Crack/Chip-Sealing of all parking lots will occur at the end of the summer, and all parking lots will be closed for a day or two in August.
Community Events
Our Bluejacket staff will have a tent or participate in many community events this summer. Please look for Cambridge-Isanti School staff at the following events:
Isanti County Jubilee Day Parade on July 11
Isanti County Fair, Kids Day at the Fair on July 19
Night to Unite on August 6
Better Together at Anoka Ramsey Community College on August 21
CIHS Junior Earned a 36 on the ACT
Congratulations to CIHS Junior Gunnar Erickson, son of Randal and Deb Erickson, who earned the highest possible ACT composite score of 36. Only about one-quarter of 1% of students who take the ACT college entrance exam earn a 36.
“Earning a top score on the ACT is a remarkable achievement,” said ACT CEO Janet Godwin. “This exceptional score of 36 will provide any university with ample evidence of readiness for academic rigors.”
Celebrating Seniors
Last week, 352 CIHS students graduated high school. The Bluejacket Class of 2024 demonstrated outstanding abilities to learn, adapt, and achieve. Whether students are entering the military, an apprenticeship, the workforce, technical or trade school, community college, or seeking a four-year, six-year, or eight-year degree, they will carry our Bluejacket values forward and make us proud. Read more about their high school accomplishments. Watch the ceremony on YouTube.

Are Your Child’s Immunization Up To Date?
Kindergarten, 7th grade, and 12th grade students have several requirements. Use the summer months to get your child’s shots up to date. Fall will be here before we know it.
Minnesota law requires immunizations, which must be completed before students can start school in the fall. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring children do not miss any classes because their immunization record is not current.
Are you moving or changing your contact information?
Don’t miss important back-to-school communication. If your email, cell phone, or mailing address changes, please log into Skyward Family Access and update your information. Please contact your school office if you are moving and won’t attend our schools.
Changes to Skyward student data may only be made by the PRIMARY guardian. Secondary guardians may change their contact information, but not the student’s. If you don’t remember your log-in, click Forgot Password.
