All students will be required to wear 3-ply masks, though there may be situations where students will be able to remove their masks. Examples include, but are not limited to, proper social distancing in the classroom, outdoor physical education, and individual student health concerns.

All staff will be provided a face shield and required to wear at a minimum 3-ply masks. Replacements will be available in the nurse’s office in each school. Staff may also wear their own KN95 or N95 masks if they so desire.

All staff and students will be required to have their temperature checked prior to entering the building. We are purchasing temperature kiosks and handheld temperature gauges.

Parents will be required to complete a questionnaire daily, prior to student arrival and via a district purchased app, on symptoms related to COVID19. This questionnaire will include a home temperature check.

The district is in the process of hiring additional custodial staff whose main job will be to clean touch points, bathrooms, and classrooms throughout the day. The custodial staff will be responsible for wiping down elementary classroom desks between the AM and PM shift. In addition, the custodial staff is developing a COVID19 cleaning procedure manual for each school.

Hand sanitizing stations will be installed at all entrances, classrooms, and bathrooms.

Students in grades 6-12 will be given a hand sanitizing wipe when they enter the classroom that will be used to wipe down their desk and chair.

Signage will be posted throughout the buildings regarding social distancing, importance of washing hands and identifying one way hallways where feasible.
