Dear Families and Caregivers,

March is all about creativity and how we can use our imagination to inspire and make the world a better place! We are excited for a month filled with opportunities for students to express themselves, collaborate, and celebrate the unique talents within our school community.

Here are some of the exciting events happening this month:

🎨 Creativity in Action – We’ll be encouraging students to think outside the box, problem-solve, and bring their ideas to life in their classrooms and beyond.

🏃‍♂️ Boosterthon Fun – Our annual Boosterthon event kicks off this month, promoting teamwork, school spirit, and healthy habits while supporting our school.

🎭 School Musical – SpongeBob the Musical – Our talented students have been working hard to bring this colorful and exciting production to life. We can’t wait for you to see it!

💙💛 World Down Syndrome Day (March 21st) – We will celebrate inclusion and diversity by recognizing the incredible contributions of individuals with Down Syndrome. Stay tuned for details on how we’ll participate as a school!

Update on Construction: At this time the sidewalk alongside the school building on Salem Crossing Road will be inaccessible. Please make alternate arrangements for your child to walk and bike. The current sidewalk area is mud and the construction crew will be replacing them soon but we do not have a date yet.

March 21st at 4:30pm and 7pm.

March 22nd at 11:30am and 2:30pm.

Here is our Home and School's weekly newsletter to keep you up to date.

• Be safe and sit on the bus.
• Talk with your seatmates on the bus in a normal level.
• Feel free to read or relax on the bus.
• Use school appropriate language on the bus.
• Respect others space, bodies and feelings.

• You can easily report a child's absence by clicking on the NURSE link located under the "Quick Links" section of the UES website.
• The UES school day begins promptly at 8:00 AM! Please ensure your child arrives on time to set a positive tone for the day.
• To help your child develop responsibility, consider creating a plan together to ensure they bring all necessary items to school. Using checklists with pictures, setting alarms, or establishing routines can be great tools for fostering independence.
• If you need to drop off lunches, please do so before 10:00 AM to ensure timely delivery to your child.
• Lastly, please remind your child to charge their laptop each night so they are ready for the school day ahead!
