Summer school will be offered again this year. There will be an in-person option and a virtual option. If your student has failed a course, it is highly encouraged that they attend in-person learning. The virtual option, Launch, will be hosted by Springfield School District and is free of charge to students. Students can do credit recovery virtually or complete a course for initial credit. If you are interested in your student attending summer school, please complete the following Google form (https://forms.gle/rNrvy7kBxqWoLpiu6) and let your student's counselor know how you would like to be contacted with more information.
Important - Health Updates for Juniors
Health Updates: Attention Juniors (Class of 2025)
In accordance with state requirements in Missouri, every 12th-grade student is required to obtain the MCV4 vaccine prior to the start of their senior year. The deadline to turn in immunizations will be May 24th, 2024.
Any student that does not have their immunization updated at the time of schedule pick up will not be able to receive their schedule. It is recommended that students complete this update early in order to avoid any issues at schedule pick up and any potential shortages in the supply of the vaccine that may occur immediately prior to the start of the school year.
Please make your appointment early and send a copy to the school before the end of this year. Please be sure that the paperwork includes the name of the provider/signature and that it specifies what type of meningitis vaccine was given (there is more than one). You may need to bring a copy of your student's current immunizations to the appointment. Students can obtain a copy through the clinic at school.
Please feel free to contact Mrs. McKinney at 636-443-4103 with any questions.
