Thank you!
In an attempt to provide more information about our amazing staff and teachers, we will post bios on the website by the end of the week! Saint Maria Goretti has continued to be blessed with Christ-filled educators delivering what's true, good, and beautiful in all we encounter. May God be the Glory again and again!

Serving Christ
Mass on Wednesday
8th Grade gospel reflections will begin August 24th. There has been question about a schedule for the gospel reflections. After discernment on this question and the purpose and goal of this activity, there will not be a posted schedule of reflections. The whole idea is that each student should choose the next person to deliver the next week's gospel reflection as he/she feels called. There will be a baseball that each student will sign as they have their turn with the gospel reflection. It is up to the student to inform parents of the date of the gospel reflection. Thank you for your patience with this activity.
Bring a Lunch through Tuesday!
We will no longer be using our federal milk program, however, we will be selling milk for $0.50 each day. Students grades 2-8th will initial for milk and will be billed through Renweb monthly. Pk3-1st graders will be billed for milk as each child purchases milk.

Drop off and Dismissal
SMG back doors will be open for morning arrival for ALL students PK3-8th grade at 7:25AM. To help keep our campus safe and consistent, there will not be any drop-offs in the front of the building (except for tardies after 7:50AM). Students will walk directly to the cafetorium to meet teachers. Seventh and eighth grade students will be available to walk younger students (if needed) to the cafetorium or to classes after 7:40AM. Teachers will be ready to receive students in the cafetorium this week and will then walk students to the classroom at 7:40 to model and set expected procedures.
Please be on time! Daily announcements begin at 7:45AM. All students arriving after 7:50AM on any school day MUST be signed in by a parent in the front office before going to class.
Afternoon pick-up from classrooms:
Doors open at 3:00PM each day. It is important that we allow students to complete procedures and are ready for pick-up without interruptions or congestion in the hallway. Thank you for your patience as we work through these hot afternoons.

Financial Aid
It is important to know that according to the National Center for Educational Statistics, the average cost for educating a child in the U.S. is over $12,000.00 per year. We have made every attempt to reduce costs and keep opportunities for a Catholic education possible for families. As most of the Catholic schools in the diocese have moved to a cost based/need based model, SMG has managed to keep the multi-family discounts while also continuing to provide additional financial support. We will continue to reach out into the community to request donations and funds for Financial Assistance. If you know of businesses or foundations who would be interested in supporting SMG, please contact Leah Rios, Abbey Lewis, or Nancy Benson.
Thank you for all your support and choosing Saint Maria Goretti as your Catholic school!
Prayers
Pray for our pastors and educators as we continue to guide these young disciples closer to Christ.
Continue to pray for the Gaal family as they heal and continue on their faith journey.
