Semester 2 is off to a great start and we are ramping up for more events as we are halfway through January. Please scroll down to see upcoming dates for SCPA, athletic competitions, district-wide events and our confirmed 2024 graduation date.

Important reminders:

• Attendance is a priority at CVH and completes the 5 A's of Spartan Excellence we live by. We appreciate your support by getting your child to school on time. We will have Saturday school this weekend (1/20) for students that need to recover absences and tardy marks. Please contact our attendance team for questions regarding your child's attendance at https://cvh.sweetwaterschools.org/attendance/. • CVH counselors will begin to balance classes this week as we have new students enrolling. Please be patient as our counselors are not only managing student schedules but also our students social emotional needs. Thank you.

The League of Women Voters will be visiting all SUHSD high schools over the next few months to provide students access to voter registration. We are excited to kick-off this event at Chula Vista High School on Thursday, January 18th and Friday, January 19th in Government and Economics classes and during lunch. Thank you to Spartan ASB member and SUHSD Student Board Representative, Izayah Ringfield, for bringing voter registration awareness and access to the students of our District. League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization and will not discuss party affiliation or differences. Their priority is to make voter registration accessible to students that are 16 yrs or older. Students will be able to take their registration forms home and are not required to participate.
