A note from Mrs. Forbis
What a great morning we had with our grandparents and special guests last Friday! We began our day with a beautiful Mass hosted by 8th grade, refreshments, and then listened to some great music from the 5th and 6th graders, Mrs. Andrews, and Mrs. Stumpe. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this day a success!
Welcome Back: Welcome back, Mrs. Eggen! Mrs. Eggen returned from her maternity leave on Tuesday. She is grateful to have spent some extra time with her daughter, Ella, during the first part of the school year, and we are lucky to have her back. We appreciate Mrs. Gibbons subbing for Mrs. Eggen during this time period.
Megan Meier Foundation: Our 3rd-8th graders went to St. Joseph Cathedral for a presentation from the Megan Meier Foundation. They joined other students from around the diocese to learn about social emotional, mental health, and many other topics. A video of her talk with the 6th-8th graders can be found at facebook.com/share/v/LwPCUtUA2Xvw97ms/.
Testing Week: Testing week is October 7-11 for grades 3-8. Please help prepare your children for the week by making sure they get plenty of sleep and have a good breakfast each morning. We want them to do their best.
This week, I would like to recognize our support staff at St. Stanislaus School. Thank you for all you do for our students and our school!
