This Week...
The week of January 30th to February 3rd--your PLC will be utilized to discuss students who are at risk for retention. You will need to have data on these students, Tier paperwork, Intervention Logs, Progress Monitoring Data that is consistent and documentation of parent contacts.
If we finish these conversations early--we will review PM calendars and intervention groups. This will help drive Tier II paperwork changes.

This will be available soon! PLEASE consider sharing at the PD Day! You can sign up for that!

February Benchmarks K-5
Week of February 6th-10th
County Math Benchmarks for K-2
County Math and Reading Benchmarks 3-5
County Benchmarks for 3-5 Reading and Math will be the first week of February. These will be a bit longer than our first Benchmark and will begin working on endurance. Continue to use your visual timers to help students learn how to pace themselves during EOG practice. *3-5 Grade Levels: I need your day preferences ASAP. Thanks!
K-2 County Math Benchmarks will take place at this time as well. Do not forget you may want use released versions of this assessment to prepare students for the format. See the left of the screen to find your grade level
Curriculum "WOWs" in the Building
- An "AHA" lesson on fiction and non-fiction books--students were making connections and excited about their learning!
- Teachers questioning curriculum materials (quadrilaterals) and learning--making decisions that is best for students!
- Emily and Mandy learning and a workshop--sharing resources and being willing to share with staff!
- Complex text and primary documents in 5th grade--LOVE the RIgor!
- 3rd grade raising the rigor in materials for teaching context clues. LOVE! I think even poetry is being considered@ AWESOME!
- 2nd grade thanks for bringing in the community for your students! It is so important to show our students opportunities for their future!
