Message from the Principal
Hello Spartan Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers,
Next week is a very exciting week around LHS. Winter Carnival and Black History Month begin on Monday! We have a lot of events happening around LHS to celebrate both. First, on Monday we have a presentation in the Black Box by “Our Legacy.” The theme for the presentation is the importance of representation for all students in their school and community.
Tuesday begins the Winter Carnival festivities! We will have our Macho Volleyball assembly on Tuesday, a class games assembly on Wednesday, and a Pep Assembly on Friday. We would love a great showing by our community Friday night as the girls basketball teams play Portage Central! The girls currently lead the conference and look to continue their winning ways! It would be great to have a packed gym to show them support!
Winter Carnival ends on Saturday with the dance at LHS. The dance runs from 7pm-10pm. The cost is $10. Tickets can be purchased at lunch all next week.
Sincerely,
Cody Japinga
