Welcome to our Panther Tales "Mini". We will be back next week with a full-sized Panther Tales. If you did not read Last Week's Panther Tales, you can find more detailed information about these reminders by clicking HERE.

Our 8th Grade Chorus students will perform the National Anthem at our Riverwood High School Home football game! Cheer on the Raiders against Pope High School! The Chorus will be singing at 7:15 and kick off is at 7:30. Information about the game and purchasing tickets can be found by clicking HERE.

Due to the number of voters coming into district schools, Fulton County Schools has designated Election Day, Tuesday November 5th, as a remote learning day. Students will receive instructions on their assignments from their teachers.

Spirit Wear hoodies for Tennis and Tumbling are currently available through the Panther Store. Orders are for these team hoodies are pre-order only and will be fulfilled in December. Dr. Mills will discuss key assessments such as MAP, GA Milestones, iReady Diagnostics and ACCESS testing. Come to this session to understand how these assessments shape your child's academic journey and determine their classes for next year.

Come learn from Ms. Bullock, Ms. Shepherd and our Riverwood student panel about the different academic tracks available to your student next year and beyond! Valuable information will be shared about our AVID program, as well as 8th and 9th grade curriculum paths- both at RCMS and Riverwood.

As a reminder, November 1st will be Dr. Long's last day at RCMS. Ms. Ceniceros will serve as the counselor for all students until a replacement is hired for Dr. Long. Fortunately, we have received multiple applicants for the position. The school expects to complete interviews by November 14th and hopes to identify the replacement by the time students return from Thanksgiving break. Please also remember that your grade-level Assistant Principals are available to respond to questions or concerns.
