The Bearcat Bulletin
Week 14: November 18-22, 2024
Dr. Linda G. Mora Elementary
Dear Bearcat Families,
Thank you all for another wonderful week! This week, we had the opportunity to honor our veterans with our annual Veterans Day parade and program. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff and students who helped make this event a success. Most importantly, we want to express our deepest gratitude to our veterans for their service to our country and for joining us to teach our students about the significance of this special day.
As we look ahead to next week, I’d like to remind everyone that while we are just one week away from a well-deserved Thanksgiving break, next week remains a valuable week of learning. Your child’s attendance each day is still incredibly important.
Wishing you all a great weekend, and I look forward to seeing everyone next week. Thank you for your continued support—we couldn’t do what we do without you!
Have a great weekend!

Bike Rodeo
Dear Parents:
It’s time for Mora’s annual bicycle rodeo on November 22, 2024 and the kids are excited about
participating.
The PE department requests that your son or daughter’s bike be in good working order and safe for normal handling. The bicycle rodeo events will be fashioned according to the diagrams and event descriptions outlined in this handout. With proper attention and practice your son or daughter can be expected to perform these tasks easily. This bike rodeo will test the bicyclists’ ability to maneuver their bicycles safely. Bicycles with training wheels will not be evaluated but are allowed to participate.
Please make sure you bring your bike between 7:00-7:45 am the day of the bike rodeo. Make sure the bike is labeled with students’ name, teachers name, grade level. Bikes must be picked up the same day by 3:45 pm.
