Graphic Novel Book Club

The Graphic Novel Book Club is for teens in grades 7 - 12. Each month we will read and discuss a different GN and work on planning or creating our own GN as a group project.


April's book is Heartless Prince by Leigh Dragon.

Shakespearean Sonnets

In honor of National Poetry Month join us for this painless introduction to the sonnet form. We will break down a few examples from Shakespeare's sonnets to understand the meter, rhyme scheme, imagery, and the ideas. Investigate what makes Shakespeare's language still resonate with readers.

Short Fiction Workshop

This twice-monthly writing workshop for adults features writing prompts, exercises, and moderated feedback sessions where you can practice the craft of writing. This is a hybrid program: you can participate in person OR online via Zoom.

Meetings of the Friends of the Library are usually held the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM. The Friends help support the Library through fundraising efforts and volunteer events throughout the year.
