Brief Message From Principal Williams
FRES Community,
We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Dove will be returning to FRES next school year officially as our Assistant Principal. Mr. Dove is a hard worker and has done a tremendous job of connecting with our students, staff, and community. Congratulations, Mr. Dove!
Today, Ms. Bagley (Front Office Attendance Clerk) and I met with a representative from The Carnegie retirement center. We are finalizing the availability of their volunteers. We are anticipating them starting the week of April 7-11 (next week). We are excited about this partnership and the impact it will have on our school community.
Our Read-A-Thon Assembly will be on Friday, April 11. Thank you to our parents, Joanna and Cheryl for putting together such an amazing Read-A-Thon experience. We plan to celebrate and have a lot of fun!!!
April is Autism Acceptance Month! Join us in celebrating by participating in our Spirit Week next week, April 7-11. Scroll down to view our Spirit Week flyer.
Have a wonderful week and always remember… The difference between a good day and a bad day is our attitude! Go Falcons!

Safety and Security Update
Last week, the district installed additional fencing to completely enclose our playground. Attached are pictures of the finished product. The fence looks amazing! Additionally, last week the district sent two groups of architects to analyze our front entrance. Pictured are the architects and district and district personnel. The goal is to completely secure our front vestibule while also establishing a welcoming environment. The next step is to have the architects present their plans. The goal is to have the project begin and completed this summer. We are truly thankful for the support of our district and our families and students that helped with the advocacy.
