Progress Reports
Mid marking period progress reports are now open to view on the Realtime Parent Portal. All parents and guardians are encouraged to review progress with their children and to reach to our school counseling department with any questions.
Senior Events
Earlier this week, a letter was shared with all senior students and their parents/guardians via email. It is important to review the information carefully. The first event for the Seniors this year will be a Senior Cruise held on Friday, May 3, 2024. Senior students need to complete and return the permission slip with payment no later than Monday, March 25th in order to attend. Be on the lookout for more details regarding additional senior events in the coming weeks. Should there be any questions, students are encouraged to reach out to their class advisors for assistance.
New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment
The NJGPA will be administered to juniors at our school and across the state from March 11-March 14. The NJGPA consists of 2 units of mathematics and 2 units of English Language Arts. Each unit is 90 minutes in length and will be administered during the first three periods of the school day. Students should make every effort to arrive on time and well rested each day and report directly to their testing location. Students who arrive past the start of the testing time will need to complete a make-up assessment the following week. New Jersey State regulations require all students to demonstrate proficiency by achieving a passing score on the English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics components of the NJGPA as a graduation requirement. All juniors MUST first take the assessment in order to be eligible for an alternative graduation pathway. The Assessment design is similar to the NJSLA and sample test questions can be found using the following link.
Local Scholarship Applications
Seniors are reminded to continue working on the local scholarship applications by using the link provided. The deadline for submission to their guidance counselor is March 25, 2024.
Class of 2025 Junior Prom
The Class of 2025 had a fantastic and memorable experience at their prom last night. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated class advisors, Ms. Lindner and Ms. Rosado, for orchestrating such a successful and enjoyable event.
Thank You!
As always, please reach out to me with any questions.
