Veterans Day at Stone Creek
Stone Creek would like to honor our families who have a veteran. We will be having a parade at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11. Before the parade, we will welcome our veterans, and their family to the cafeteria for muffins and juice. Please use the link below to submit information if you have a special veteran we can honor that day. We will follow up with all who sign up to join us about details for when to arrive, how to check in with the office, and any additional details.
We ask that all students and staff dress in red, white, and blue on Monday, Nov. 11. The sacrifice of these men and women needs to be honored by all of us. We look forward to honoring all veterans that morning.
MRA Results
Our school's Measurable Results Survey (MRA) data is in! Thank you to our families, staff, and students for participating in this survey. This survey has helped us identify strengths as well as areas where we can improve and track our school's overall progress. Click here to view our school's highlights. View district-wide survey results here.
Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser Opportunity
Stone Creek has partnered with Texas Roadhouse to help fundraise for the school, and we hope families will be willing to help support Stone Creek.
We are challenging all students to sell two $30 gift cards between Nov. 1-14. Please see the image above for all the details and the prizes you can win. We will send the envelopes home on Tues., Oct. 29. Gift cards make perfect holiday gifts!
Please make all checks payable to Stone Creek Elementary.
It's Cold Outside
As the temperature starts to drop, we want to remind you to please send your student to school with a coat, gloves, and hat as needed. Physical activity is important to the well-being of all students and has a great impact on their readiness to learn. Every student will be provided with one 25-minute recess daily. Weather conditions will be used to determine recess outside. Currently, any temperature below fifteen degrees (including wind chill) is considered too cold to go outside. If it is above fifteen degrees, with wind chill factored in, we will be going outside. Please dress your child appropriately during cold weather.
It is also very helpful to write your child's first and last name in their coat. This way, if your child misplaces their coat we are able to help the coat make it back to the correct classroom.
Volunteer of the Month
Congratulations to Shawna Czuba for being Stone Creek's October Volunteer of the Month! Shawna will receive preferential parking in our Volunteer of the Month parking spot and a Fast Pass for the month of November. Together, our volunteers took 50 HOURS of work off of our teacher's plates for October. Thanks again to ALL of our volunteers for filling in the missing piece to our puzzle, we appreciate you!
If you are interested in volunteering, just ask in the front office. We would love more help!
Community Partnership Opt-Out Information
Throughout the duration of the academic year, the Wentzville School District partners with community agencies that specialize in providing students, families, and educators with preventative education. Agency presenters are credentialed, coordinated through the District, and under the supervision of building administrators. Presentation topics are targeted toward specific grade levels. All students will participate in each program unless you choose to opt your child out of the lesson(s). If you are interested in opting your student(s) out of the presentation(s), please click the appropriate link(s) below.
If you have additional questions, please reach out directly to your student’s guidance counselor.
Ask us Anything!
Ask us anything! We often see questions on social media about policies and procedures at Stone Creek. We are here to help! If you have any question big or small about SCE, please ask it here. Our front office will monitor your questions and respond directly to you in a timely manner.
