It is a busy time of year! Sports, activities, graduation, finals. Things can sneak up on students fast. It is important to reiterate to students to finish the year strong. As reminders, following are some important dates for seniors and the finals schedule for underclassmen:

• Tuesday, April 29th
• Mandatory Senior Class meeting in the WHS theatre.
• Meeting will start at 9:05AM. This meeting will discuss graduation expectations

• Tuesday, May 6th
• Senior Awards Night
• 6-7PM in the WHS theatre

• Thursday, May 8th
• Last day for Seniors
• Senior Class Walk
• Students meet in the WHS commons at 1:55PM. They will walk the halls of WHS together one last time.

• Tuesday, May 13th
• Graduation practice at the Menard Sports Center at 8AM.
• Graduation @ 7PM at the Menard Sports Center
• Students meet at WHS @ 5:45PM in cap and gown

Boundary Exempt applications for the 2025/26 school year are now available through your ParentVue account.
Please remember that if you currently have a student that is on a boundary exemption, you need to fill out a new application every year. The sooner we receive those forms, the better we can plan for next year’s schedule. All boundary exemptions are done through ParentVue. You must submit the Boundary Exempt request and receive approval from the school PRIOR to filling out an Online Registration. You will see two different versions of the Boundary Exemption application, one for this school year and another one for the next school year. Follow the instructions for online registration and select the packet labeled “2025/2026 Boundary Exempt Request” to submit a boundary exempt request for next school year.

If you were a student at Shaw, Snowshoe, or Iditarod Elementaries, they are having the following walks for seniors! Please wear your cap & gowns to walk the halls of your old stomping grounds for the elementary students to see.

Shaw - Monday, May 12th at 10:45 am

Iditarod- Monday, May12th at 11:00am

Snowshoe -Monday, May 12th at 1:00

1. Cadets that scored 75 or higher on the Physical Fitness Test. 40 out of 72 cadets earned the Health & Wellness ribbon.
