Spirit Wear Orders
Please note that If you placed an order for Spirit wear in August, it was sent home with your child on Wednesday of last week.
Fall Picture Day
Thursday, October 10th is picture day at Marbrook. Order forms were sent home last week. You can make an online purchase by visiting MyLifetouch.com and use Picture Day ID: EVTWGP9XM.
All students, regardless of whether they are purchasing pictures or not, will have their picture taken for the yearbook.

Join us for the Marbrook Title 1 Literacy Celebration!
Come out and join us for dinner and informative sessions that celebrate reading. Families that are in attendance will be provided a take-home grade-level reading resource.

National Custodian Appreciation Day!
Volunteering at Marbrook!
If you plan to volunteer at Marbrook this school year—either in our building or as a chaperone on a field trip—you must complete the process to become an approved volunteer. Once approved, your status is valid for one calendar year. For example, if you completed the process last May, you are cleared until May 2024. If you are unsure of your status, please email elaine.ambra@redclay.k12.de.us.
The updated process includes the following three steps:
- Complete the Confidentiality Form.
- Fill out the TB Questionnaire.
- Fill out this online form and submit the receipt page to our main office.

Scholastic Book Fair Coming Soon!!
All students will visit the Scholastic Book fair during the week of October 21st!
The book fair is set up in the library.
PTO is looking for volunteers! Take a look at their SignUpGenius for available time slots. Please note that you must fill out the necessary paperwork to volunteer. We thank you for your understanding.
If your child will be making a purchase at the book fair, please send the money in an envelope/bag with their first and last name written on it it. You also have an option of setting up an "eWallet". It’s a convenient digital account that your child can use for shopping at our Fair. Family members can set up the student eWallet on the following website:

🚩🚩🚩Please note that in addition to books there are posters, erasers pens, and other gadgets for sale. If you prefer they only purchase books please write a note stating that so our volunteers can guide them in the right direction.🚩🚩🚩
Students will visit the Book Fair during their schedule library time. See schedule below. Please note that the Book Fair will be open during Literacy Night on 10/24/24 from 6:15-7:00.
We need volunteers to decorate their cars! Please contact Ashley.MarbrookPTO@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer and/or donate candy! Set up starts at 4pm, trunk or treat starts at 5pm in Marbrook’s parking lot. Food trucks will be on sight if you would like to purchase dinner or sweet treats. Please keep all decorations “spooky” not “scary” for our younger Dolphins

In keeping with our wellness initiatives and the district’s commitment to providing a safe learning environment for all students and students with food allergies, please do not send in food items such as cupcakes and/or cookies. Birthdays will be acknowledged during morning announcements and students will receive a sticker and a cupcake eraser from the principal.

1st & 2nd Grade Community Helpers
5th graders in Sra. Marcano's class had an exciting day celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! Mrs. Marcano led a particular lesson, where students from the USA, Puerto Rico, and Mexico learned about the cultural significance of piñatas, thanks to a beautiful creation from Mrs. Marcano's friend. The students also explored the rich cultures of Puerto Rico and Mexico and enjoyed candy from both countries!
