Principal's Message
Dear Parents & Guardians,
I hope this message finds you well. As we navigate this school year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Together, we create an environment where our students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to provide high-quality education, and your engagement plays a crucial role in their efforts. Whether through volunteering, attending meetings, or simply encouraging your children to embrace their learning, your contributions make a significant impact.
I encourage you to stay connected with our school and explore ways to support our teachers and programs. Consider attending upcoming events, such as our conferences on November 4, or our third grade concerts on November 20 and November 21. Your involvement not only strengthens our community but also sets a wonderful example for our students about the value of education and collaboration.
Thank you for being an essential part of our school family. Together, we can continue to foster an environment of growth, respect, and excellence for our children.
Warm regards,
Jennifer Grove

Turn Your Clocks Back
Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2:00 A.M. On Saturday night, clocks are set back 1 hour (i.e., gaining one hour) to “fall back.” Sunrise and sunset will be about 1 hour earlier on Nov 5, 2024, than the day before.
Conferences
Conferences will be held on Monday, November 4 from 11:00am - 7:00pm. Click HERE to sign up for a 15 minute conference with your child's teacher. Per district policy, sign up for only one conference time per child.
Walk to Read
Our students are using their WINN (What I Need Now) time to participate in our “Walk to Read” initiative. Walking to read is the process of grouping kids in skill-alike groups for around 30 minutes per day. Teachers in mini teams "specialize" in a particular skill level grouping during Walk to Read and the students will "walk" to that group for targeted instruction. We are hoping that this leads to more targeted and efficient planning and instruction.
