We've had a great week of dress up days for Read Across America week. Big shout out to Dr. Steeber and Mr. Hughes for reading to our kiddos! Spring pictures are next Wednesday, March 12th and Spring Break is March 17-21. Following Spring Break, we will be starting our coin drive fundraiser. Each class will collect money and after 2 weeks, the winning class will get to throw a pie in Mr. Higgins face. As always, Mr. Higgins is challenging the the whole building to raise $3,000. If we reach our 3k goal, every kid gets to throw a pie in his face! Our coin drive funds will go towards buying materials for our end of the year memory books for the kids.
Our next Family Literacy Night will be March 27 from 5:30pm-7:00pm. We had a ton of fun last semester and plan to have a lot more this time around. Project prevent will be joining us again with fun activities and a delicious Mexican dinner!
