Scholarship Spotlight

A big congrats to our Class of 2023 for earning $803,940.35 worth of scholarships this year! A sincere thank you to all of the generous donors. We look forward to profiling each winner in the near future -- stay tuned!

State Podium Placing

The WIAA State Track & Field meet is in the books and we have a podium placing event! A big congrats to our girls 4x800 m relay team of Ellie Robinson, Regan Schuette, Julia Thompson, and Annie Robinson that claimed 4th place!

Kudos also to:

-- 8th: Ellie Robinson in the 1600 m

-- 8th: Ellie Robinson in the 3200 m

-- 11th: Annie Robinson in the 800 m

-- 14th: 4x8 Relay Layne Aurit, Charlie Keith, Ethan Hook, Cooper Elsner

-- 15th: Annie Robinson in the 1600 m

Great season, Dodge-Point!

Golf is State Bound

#PointerNation Golf is State Bound again! Mineral Point claimed its third straight Sectional Championship Tuesday at Dodge-Point Country Club with a victory over second place Barneveld by 32 strokes!


Carson Kroll was the individual Sectional Champion with a 74 while Drew Aschliman, Eli Lindsey, and Alex Ross all tied for 4th. Reid Acherman finished 9th.


Pointers will play in the WIAA State Tournament June 5-6 at Blackwolf Run in Kohler. This is the Pointers' 7th WIAA State Team Golf Appearance (1931, 1932, 1994, 2015, 2021, 2022, 2023).

State Honors Musicians

A big congratulations to Josie Dunn (Orchestra) who auditioned and was accepted to the prestigious Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) Middle School State Honors Project! Kudos also to Lily Fox who is an alternate for the choir. The students will perform in Madison during late October as part of the Wisconsin State Music Conference. Their selection identifies them as one of Wisconsin’s finest middle school musicians.

1st Grade Field Trip

Thanks to UW-Platteville for hosting our 1st graders! We loved the cookies at the Student Center, then got to try their homemade ice cream at Boebel Hall, we toured their greenhouse, and then finally ended at the Animal House where we got to pet some of the animals! Also, thank you to Ed Faherty for the behind the scenes tour of the recycling center! What a fun adventure!
