Reminders:
- Bring in donations of hygiene and cleaning items for Bellefonte and Snow Shoe food banks by next Monday, April 7.
- Order your yearbook by June 3rd.
While we have just started the final marking period, we are already forced to think ahead to the 2025-2026 school year. This week's newsletter contains some important information for next school year.
Attached you will find the 2025-2026 School Year Calendar. There is a chance for one additional Professional Learning Day being added. I will let you know as soon as that is confirmed.
As we look forward to the warmer months ahead, we want to remind you that shorts will again be permitted beginning April 15. Now is a great time to check sizing and order new uniform pieces for spring.
Uniform Update for the 2025-2026 School Year:
Please note this uniform change for the upcoming school year. In addition to the required royal blue sweatpants and/or shorts bearing the school logo, all K-5 students will now be required to have a School Uniform Quarter Zip Sweatshirt in Gray (Pewter Heather) with the school logo.
This new addition will be permissible for daily wear over the school uniform, including Mass and PE days. On Mass days, the quarter zip sweatshirt may be worn over a collared shirt and tie for our young gentlemen and a collared shirt for our young ladies. On non-PE and non-Mass days, the quarter zip can be worn over the regular school uniform.
NOTE: We will be sharing a discount code with you for this item, and others at Lands End, as soon as it becomes available.
Sincerely in Christ,
Mrs. Tice

Why Do We Have a School Uniform?
Our school uniform helps foster a sense of unity and pride within the Saint John School community. It promotes neatness, enhances school spirit, and allows students to focus on learning rather than on attire. By minimizing distractions, our uniform policy supports an environment where academic and personal growth take priority.
Thank you for supporting this important aspect of Saint John School culture!

Saint John School - 5th Grade Teaching Position Open for 2025-2026
Saint John School is seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our faculty as a 5th Grade Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
As we look ahead, we also take a moment to express our deep gratitude to Mrs. Mary Park, who will be retiring at the end of this school year. Mrs. Park has spent the last three years at Saint John School, bringing her wisdom, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her students. Her work here is the beautiful culmination of a long and meaningful career in education. She has touched the hearts of many students and colleagues, and her presence will be greatly missed. We pray that her retirement is filled with joy, peace, and well-deserved rest.
Interested candidates for the 5th grade teaching position are invited to apply. Contact Mrs. Tice for more information.
Please join us in thanking Mrs. Park for her incredible contributions and in praying for a bright future for our next 5th grade teacher.
Saint John Yearbook online sales are open!
You can find the order form using this link:
https://jostensyearbooks.com/?REF=A09880595
The yearbook price is $23.25 plus tax and service fee. Yearbooks are estimated to arrive mid-summer and will include the end of the year school events. The deadline to order a yearbook is June 3rd.
With the continuing increase of shipping costs, and with a successful yearbook distribution over the past three years, we will be having another two-day yearbook pick up at Saint John School. The two pick-up dates will be determined upon notification of yearbook shipment. If you are unable to pick up on either of the TBD dates, your child’s yearbook will be sent home on the first day of school.
