Dear FPS Caregivers:
I am writing to inform you that Tiffany Lillie, Assistant Superintendent for Equity, Diversity and Community Engagement, has accepted a position with a Worcester non-profit organization. She will be leaving the Framingham Public Schools on October 13, 2023 to start her new position.
As a district, we have made significant progress under Ms. Lillie’s leadership, and I am grateful that our strategic priorities continue to prioritize equity, diversity, inclusion, access, and belonging, all of which are central to how we support our students, families, and staff. Additionally, the relationships that have been forged between the Framingham Public Schools and community partners continue to be strong with even greater growth forecasted thanks to the intentional relationships that have been identified, nurtured and celebrated during Ms. Lillie’s tenure.
The District will be engaging an outside party to conduct a search for the new Assistant Superintendent for Equity, Belonging, and Community Engagement as her replacement. More detailed information will be forthcoming on the input process and timeline. The Central Office team will take on supervisory responsibilities of the Office until a successor is named to lead this important district work.
Very truly yours,
Bob Tremblay
