Happy New Year and welcome to the third quarter! Ms. Fifer and I hope this message finds you well and filled with excitement for the year ahead. As we enter 2025, we want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for the partnership we share in supporting our students’ growth and success.

The new year brings renewed opportunities to focus on the continued academic achievement of our students. Our dedicated staff remains committed to providing engaging, challenging, and personalized learning experiences that help each child reach their full potential. Academic success is always a priority, and we are proud of the progress our students have made so far. We look forward to building on this foundation in the months ahead.

Equally important is the well-being of our students, both socially and emotionally. We recognize that a balanced approach to learning includes fostering resilience, confidence, and a sense of belonging. As we move into the new year, we will continue to support our students in developing the skills to navigate challenges, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships with their peers and teachers.

The success of our students depends on the collective effort of our entire school community. We are grateful for your ongoing support, and we encourage you to stay involved in your child’s education, whether through volunteering, attending school events, or simply having meaningful conversations about their progress. Together, we can create an environment where every student thrives.

Report cards will be posted in your PowerSchool account

after 4:00pm on Friday, January 10, 2024.

Here are the top three things you need to know:

• Access to the report cards will not be available through the PowerSchool app. The report cards are available by logging into your account through your favorite browser (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.).
• We strongly encourage you to make sure you can access your account by a web browser. If you need technical assistance, please contact our school office.
• You must have a PowerSchool account to see the report card. If you do not have an account, please follow the instructions at this link.

We are still in need of a Finance Trustee to join the board for the remainder of this school year with the hopes to stay on for next school year as well. Erin Makl has graciously been covering and will help train the new person. We also still have two committees available to chair if you’re interested in a role within the BTV.
