Can you believe we are already entering a new session of preschool?

Session 3 payment deadline is this Thursday, October 10th! Updated class rosters, student sign in/sign out sheets, and fingerprinting ID numbers for new authorized pick up persons, new student profiles from Synergy with emergency contacts, medical information, and authorized pick up persons will be communicated to classroom teachers on Friday, October 11th. Remember that child care emergency cards for new students must be filled out and kept with your existing emergency preschool classroom in a designated visible location. All classroom staff should know where the cards are and be able to access them.

Please remind parents about the session 3 deadline for payment and registration for new students. Also, continue to let parents and others know that we have openings in our 3 and 4 year old tuition preschool programs.

The Cardinal's Nest will house GSRP students for the first time. On Monday, October 7th, we will have the p.m. section of GSRP starting in room 105. Help us welcome these new students and parents!

If you have not already done so, this is a reminder for all GSRP, Cardinal's Nest preschool, and latchkey staff to begin your child care licensing documentation on the state licensing hours form in your staff file. If you need a new sheet for this year, you can ask Carrie in the GSRP office or Emily Cardinal's Nest office. You should attach proof of your coursework to the documentation record sheet. Licensing came in this past week and reminded us of this requirement.

For our latchkey caregivers looking for licensing hours, the following courses can be found on the GISD professional development website.

They are called START courses (Statewide Autism Resource Training)

We will have a payroll procedure meeting for Cardinal's Nest staff on Tuesday, October 8th at 3:00. We will clarify staff hours, PTF sheets, 1/2 day attendance slips, and more. Looking forward to seeing Cardinal's Nest staff at the meeting. Lead teachers, assistant teachers, caregivers, and all staff that complete their payroll at Cardinal's Nest are welcome to attend.

This week will be busy! Session 3 payment deadline will is this Thursday, October 10th. On Friday, October 11th all sites will get updated student rosters and attendance sign in sheets. Remember that although we are using the Procare fingerprinting machines for check in and check out, you still need to keep a paper copy of the session's sign in and sign out sheet in case the machine isn't working or in case you have an authorized pick up person without a fingerprint ID number.
