School Supply Ordering Made Easy with EduKits!
Bell Middle School is transitioning to EduKits, a convenient online system for ordering school supplies! You can find all the information and a direct link to order on the Bell Middle School website. Details are also available in the attached flyer.

Teacher Appreciation Week, May 5-9
Help Provide Treats for Teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week, May 5-9th
Thanks to over $800 in donations, PTA is able to provide the staff with a catered meal from Little Ricci's on Wednesday, May 7th as well as breakfast on Friday, May 9th! PTA will also be providing an Ice Cream truck for staff on Tuesday and a Coffee Cart on Thursday.
PTA would love your help to provide sweet treats on Wednesday, May 7th SignUpGenius Link. Please deliver all treats to the school by 11am on Wednesday.
Move to School Day - May 7th
Get ready to move to school on Wednesday, May 7th. Ride your bike or scooter, run or walk to school, or if you ride the bus join in the jump roping fun as you get off the bus. There are prizes and ROAR tickets for everyone who participates!
Save the Date: 8th Grade Last Day Celebration
The 8th graders' last day of school is Thursday, May 22nd. No other grades attend school that day. Students should plan on a fun-filled day, including a bowling field trip, yearbook signing, carnival games, a barbeque, and more! The fee for the bowling activity is already in the student fee payment schedule online. More details and permissions slips will be forthcoming.
We Need Your Help
Please support the school by reminding your student(s) that our school policies are still in place. Students need to keep their phones and wireless headphones away in lockers and our school dress code is still in place. The dress code policy outlines mandatory and allowable dress:
Shirt: A garment for the upper body, with back connected to front and over the shoulders with straps or sleeves.
Pants, shorts, dresses, and/or skirts must cover the full buttocks at all times both standing and seated.
To avoid injury and disease, shoes, boots, sandals, or other footwear must be worn on school grounds
Inappropriate messages that reference drugs, sex, alcohol, gangs, profanity, derogatory towards individuals or groups are not permitted.
Some courses may require adjustments to attire . Examples include:
Dressing out for PE
Closed toed shoes in FACS
Various requirements for science labs

Here are this week’s Bobcats of the Week, as nominated by teachers and staff members weekly from each grade. Students are nominated based on consistent or exceptional R.O.A.R. (Respectful, Optimistic, Accountable, Responsible) behavior. 😊

ALP surveys
Students with ALP's will be expected to complete their end of year survey about their affective and academic goals this week. Students will receive the ALP email in their student email accounts on Thursday, April 10th.
Hazel Health Network-online Mental Health Support
This free counseling service is Jeffco-supported and very quick to get started.
Parents or your student's grade-level counselor can make a referral by clicking the link above. Many Bell parents have used this service and have great feedback.

Student Work in Student Portfolios
All library books are due by May 9th when fines will be generated. Ask your student to find thier books and get them into the library ASAP!
Summer Reading Challenge
Jeffco Public Library hosts a summer reading challenge each year. Students can sign up to log thier reading minutes and win great prizes for completing the program: tickets to the aquarium, free books, free food and more. Sign your student up here. The school with the most finishers win $800 in books!

Next years 7th and 8th grade information night to join the Golden High School DEVO Mountain Bike Team. Meeting is Monday, May 12th from 5:30 - 7:00 in the GHS main lobby.

Becoming a member of the Bell Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is the easiest and fastest way to become part of the Bell community and help make decisions on how the PTA can best support all students and educators at Bell. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. You must have an active membership to vote on budget matters. Membership Link.
