Westside Early Childhood & Club 66

We’re thrilled to announce that summer registration for WECC and Club 66 is almost here! To make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for both families and our staff, we’ve worked hard to explain the steps to help you secure your spot with ease. Please read through this newsletter for reminders and tips for completing the summer registration process.

It's very important that you follow the registration instructions carefully. We have included them in this newsletter and will provide them again with the registration email. We want to stress that it is VERY important to add all the weeks you’d like to attend to your cart before completing your registration. This step will ensure that your summer schedule is accurate and avoids unnecessary adjustments later.

Step 4 - You must add each individual week you wish to attend to your cart prior to submitting your registration.

Step 6 - You have to select a Plan Selection for each week. The Plan Selection is your weekly schedule. You must select from the drop down what schedule you would like to attend for that week. Weeks 1, 4 & 6 have different plan selections due to the start of the summer program and holidays.

Step 7 - Please be sure to enter your 2nd and 3rd location choices. This helps us in the event you do not get your first choice. If you enter N/A we will not place you at a second location until we have made contact with you and this could limit your spots.

When does Summer 2025 registration begin?

Registration for Early Childhood (toddlers & preschoolers) is March 3rd(7am)-4th(6pm).

Registration for Club 66 is March 10th(7am)-11th(6pm).

What locations will be open?

There are currently a lot of construction projects happening in the Westside Community School District. Unfortunately we will only be able to have summer programming at 6 sites this summer (last year we had 7).

The 2025 Summer Early Childhood and Club 66 locations are:

Hillside - Club 66

Oakdale - Preschool & Club 66

Prairie Lane - Toddler, Preschool & Club 66

Sunset Hills - Preschool & Club 66

Swanson - Club 66

Underwood Hills - Toddler & Preschool

For the summer, does my child automatically get a spot at the site they attend during the

school year?

No, registration is taken on a first-come, first-serve basis for all open summer locations.

Does my school-age child get placed at the same location as my toddler/preschooler?

No, older sibling placement is taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.

When can my preschooler move to the school-age program?

Per our DHHS license, children can move to the school-age program once they have physically

attended their first day of kindergarten.

Can I sign up for as many weeks as I need?

Yes. During the registration process you will have to register for each individual week you would

like to attend.

What is the weekly attendance minimum?

There are 3 options. You can register to come M-F, MWF, or TTh. You will select one of these

options for each week that you register for. There are 3 weeks that have an exception due to

holidays and/or days WECC is closed. Please see below for further information.

Why do weeks 1, 4 and 6 have different plan options?

These weeks have different plan options because we are closed days during that week due to

holidays or the start of the summer program.

WEEK 1 plan options: (Wednesday-Friday) OR (Wednesday & Friday)

WEEK 4 plan options: (Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) OR (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

WEEK 6 plan options: (Monday-Thursday), (Monday & Wednesday) OR (Tuesday & Thursday)

What are the summer rates?

The summer rates will remain the same as the 2024-2025 school year rates.

Toddler Rates:

5 days/week Monday through Friday 1st child - $270.00 Sibling - $243.00

3 days/week Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1st child - $162.00 Sibling - $145.80

2 days/week Tuesday, Thursday 1st child - $108.00 Sibling - $97.20

Preschool Rates:

5 days/week Monday through Friday 1st child - $256.00 Sibling - $230.40

3 days/week Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1st child - $153.60 Sibling - $138.24

2 days/week Tuesday, Thursday 1st child - $102.40 Sibling - $92.16

School-Age Rate:

5 days/week Monday through Friday 1st child - $215.00 Sibling - $193.50

3 days/week Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1st child - $129.00 Sibling - $116.10

2 days/week Tuesday, Thursday 1st child - $86.00 Sibling - $77.40

Is there a Registration fee?

A non-refundable per child summer registration fee is due upon Site Director approval.

Registration fee is: $40.00 prior to May 1st $55.00 on/after May 1st

Can I make schedule changes?

Yes. Families can make schedule changes until March 28th, 2025. An email will be sent to ECC

families with a link to a google form on March 14th. If necessary, please complete the google

form to request your schedule change. The Site Director from the summer site will connect with

you to confirm your schedule change.

Can I complete registration with only one week in my cart to get a faster timestamp?

We ask families to add all desired weeks to their cart before completing registration. Submitting weeks separately can result in later timestamps for subsequent submissions, reducing the likelihood of securing those weeks. Please include all weeks you wish to register for in a single submission to ensure a smoother process.
