Spirits are high in the school as we continue on our Advent Adventure! Please note the following important dates:

Saturday Dec 7

- Immaculate Conception Church is hosting a rummage, baking and cook book sale! Consider popping by the church basement from 10am - 4 pm to find treasures, and support our Parish!

Sunday Dec 8

- With the second Sunday of Advent, we light the purple PEACE candle, which will be our virtue of focus for the week. This day is also the Feast of Immaculate Conception, and all are welcome to attend Mass, followed by a potluck lunch at the church! The rummage sale will also be held after church too!

Monday Dec 9

- Peaceful Pajama Day! Snuggle up in your coziest Christmas jammies and enjoy a day of warm, festive fun as our Advent Adventure rolls on!

Tuesday Dec 10

- Wacky Holiday Hair Day- Let your festive flair shine! Whether you're rocking candy cane curls, tinsel twists, or an entire winter wonderland perched on your crown, the goal is simple: the wackier, the merrier!

- MicroSociety Job Fair! Our dynamic venture and agency owners and managers are eager to showcase exciting job opportunities! In Saints' City, there's a role for everyone and every citizen is a vital part of our community's success!

Wednesday Dec 11

- Let's go Mad for Plaid, on this Advent Adventure spirit day!

- The executive of our Booster Club will be in the school for the 50/50 Draw! Thank you for supporting this fantastic fundraiser that will help purchase a 3D Printer for the school! Don't have your tickets yet? Find the link below!

Thursday Dec 12

- Pizza Hut lunch for those that ordered.

-Staff and students are eager to present our Christmas Concert: A Christmas Yarn! At Unique Gifts from Luxurious Yarns (U.G.L.Y.), ugly is beautiful! When the factory’s team faces a big Christmas Eve deadline, founder Sam Ebenezer gets unexpected help from some mysterious visitors, weaving together holiday cheer and a heartwarming message. Don your ugliest sweater and enjoy a festive spin on a classic tale with A Christmas Yarn! Students will participate in a very important dress rehearsal in the afternoon.

Our show begins promptly at 6pm. Please note, the doors to the school will open at 5:30pm, and students in PreK- grade 6 are to be in their rooms by 5:45pm, at which point the gym doors will also be opened for audience seating. Interested in getting the BEST seats of the house? Booster Group will be auctioning of 2 pairs of tickets for our front row beginning on Tuesday Dec. 10th, through their Facebook Page!

Our Booster Group will be running a Silent Auction for guests to bid on before the concert, during the intermission and for a brief time after the concert. They're still seeking any donations that you may have for the silent auction. Grade 6 will also have a booth set up to purchase a special candy-gram for your child!

This promises to be an evening full of Christmas spirit, fellowship and faith!

- PD Day! Students can enjoy a day of rest following the excitement of the concert, as our teachers gather to work on professional development and wellness.

Grade 1 will be collecting new toys, gifts, games and gift cards for the Sexsmith and Area Food Bank's Christmas Hamper program. Donations can be dropped off in the office. Thank you for making Christmas even more special for children in our area!

When the buses are canceled, we make the most of our day! After working hard, we played even harder with a school-wide game of 'Sardines.' Students had a blast searching for teachers hiding in some very clever spots. We're very blessed to be a small school family. Laughter, movement, and fun brought us all together!

In Saints' City, our citizens have been hard at work in MicroUniversity, diving into topics designed to help them thrive in our MicroSociety. From sharpening leadership skills to understanding mutual funds, they’re gaining tools for success. With polished resumes in hand, they’re ready to shine at next week’s Job Fair. Our Town Council has issued business licenses for the successful business proposals. The future is bright in Saints' City!

Here's your chance to win some Christmas Cash, and help us help the school! We are raising funds to purchase a new 3D printer for the school with an easy online 50/50 raffle! Check it out, and support our kids!

St. Mary's does not charge base fees for the academic year, however, certain programs do have fees attached.

Fees for our Pre-K program are due monthly by the 5th of each month.

Junior High CTS classes have been invoiced and emailed home. Statements will reflect fees for the whole year, however, only fees associated with Term 1 are past due, and Term 2 fees will be due on Dec. 20th.

Extra Curricular and sports teams also have fees attached, and are due before the first event for each team.

Fees can easily be paid online through the PowerSchool Parent portal, or in person in the office. Please don't hesitate to contact the office if you have any questions or would like to make arrangements for payment.
