A Note from Principal DeVito
Good Afternoon Jaguar Nation!
We had a fantastic week at Jones Middle School, and I’m thrilled to share some highlights with you.
First, don’t miss our broadcast’s first long-session video, which captures the amazing work our students have been doing. Their creativity and dedication are truly impressive!
A big shout-out to our students for their incredible school spirit at our pep rally and our very first volleyball game! Congratulations to all our 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams for securing our first-ever sporting win!
We’re also excited about our first-ever football game on September 4 and another volleyball game on September 5. Please remember to pick up your children who are spectating from these events by 8:00 p.m. if they are not accompanied by an adult.
Looking ahead, our inaugural Jag Fest is coming up on September 13 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. This fun-filled after-school event, organized by our PTO, will feature candy and soda for sale, several inflatables, and a great time for students to hang out and enjoy. It’s sure to be a fantastic way for everyone to build community spirit and have fun!
Reminder we are off on Monday 9/2 and Tuesday 9/3. We will resume Wednesday and Thursday with block schedule.
Thank you for your continued support, and have a wonderful weekend!
Go Jags!
