While we continue to fine tune our news station for the Multi-media Publishing Elective, please continue to get your news here. We will provide a link to our weekly broadcast that's published on our YouTube page in your emails! These will be unlisted, so you can only find the News & Notes if you share the link.

We have been blessed to see the rise of so many students involved in clubs this year. These clubs also offer the ability of wearing custom shirts. The following shirts are permitted to be worn on Wednesday every week:

• Running Club dry-fit shirt (if in Running Club and will be participating that day)
• Spirit Squad shirt
• Choir shirt
• Spirit Shirts from this year or any previous year

Athletic shirts may be worn on game days when applicable.

This is not a free dress day. You must wear school bottoms, school socks, and school shoes on these days, or wear your jumper over the shirt with modesty shorts.

Since we are permitting every Wednesday to be a Spirit Day, we will no longer have Spirit Day on the last Friday of the month.

Wearing the maroon sweatshirt is a privilege. STUDENTS WHO CONTINUE TO WEAR THEIR MAROON SWEATSHIRTS ON THURSDAYS (or other days when we have Mass, including First Friday) WILL CAUSE US TO LOSE THIS PRIVILEGE.

On Tuesday, November 5, SJS played against St. George on our home field. It was a great game with lots of hustle and some great "hat tricks" and it ended in a tie! Take a look at their interview in our Soaring High Headlines!

Our next game is on Saturday, November 9, at Nolan Catholic High School. We are playing against St. Andrew at 6:00pm. Come out and support these awesome players!

The following dates and times will be held at St. John's in the Resource Room for the remainder of the year for Adult Initial Training. (This is a great way to go ahead and get your Safe Environment for volunteering at SJS campus, Fall Fest, etc.)

• Saturday, November 16: 9:00am - 12:00pm

The following dates and times will be held at St. John's in the Resource Room for the remainder of the year for Adult Renewal Training. (This required every three years to ensure your Safe Environment training is up to date.)

• Thursday, December 5: 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Hello SJS Family!

We had so much fun with our annual Trick or Treat event! The children got to dress up and visit the church staff and fill up their bags with candy and goodies.
