The Technology and Innovation Department will be collecting devices from ALL students next week.

The collection dates are as follows:

• Monday, June 10th - 3rd-5th Grade Laptops
• Tuesday, June 11th - 6th Grade Laptops

Please remove any cosmetic stickers the student applied and use a piece of masking tape to label with their name.

*Devices must be returned with manufacturer-issued charging cable and pen.

Missing Accessories: Please go to MyPayments Plus to pay for items that you lost or damaged while in your possession. Bring a receipt with you to collection as proof of payment.

Gayman will hold a Move Up Day on Thursday, June 13th from 9:00-10:00AM.

Students will not be assigned a specific teacher by that date. Instead students will meet all grade level teachers and learn about the highlights of what the 2024-2025 school year will hold for them. Our goal in this activity is to build excitement about the coming year and reduce anxiety for the next school year, as we head into the summer.

We look forward to the upcoming school year!

Pennsylvania mandates the following health examinations:

• Physicals: School entry (Kindergarten), grades 6 and 11
• Dentals: School entry (Kindergarten), grades 3 and 7

Parents are urged to have physical and dental examinations completed by their family physician or dentist and submitted prior to October 15th of the year that they are due. Send health forms to Sara Hedges, our school nurse, at shedges@cbsd.org.

If you would like to pick up your son/daughter early for an appointment, please pick up your child before 2:45PM. After 2:45PM, your child will be asked to wait with the other walkers, bus and car riders in his/her classroom, to ensure a safe and efficient dismissal for everyone.

To volunteer at a class party or chaperone a field trip, your clearances must be up-to-date.

If your clearances are current, upload them into the App Garden - Volunteer Tracker. If your clearances have expired, or you need to begin the clearance process, click on the Required Documents for the directions. For more information, consult the Human Resources Volunteer Required Paperwork webpage.

Families can access the online application for Free & Reduced Meals by clicking here. The application must be submitted each year AND for each child. If your child received free or reduced lunch last year, you must re-apply for the 23-24 school year.

Nick Brewster shared information about frogs, snakes, turtles, and owls to 50 amazed students. What a wonderful way to end the school year for this fantastic club!

The GHSA is excited to host the End of the Year Family Picnic! We had 350 people RSVP to attend on Friday, June 7th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on the Gayman Playground.

We still need a few volunteers and donations please click HERE to donate/volunteer for the picnic.

GHSA will provide Pizza and Snow Cones! And there will be music! We can't wait to see you and celebrate a great year!
