25 - 26 Kindergarten Registration opened December 2nd. Here is the LINK to start the registration process.
The 4th Annual "Tour of Lights" at Coyote Creek will be held TONIGHT from 5:30pm-7:00pm.
Please drive through the main parking lot to get in line to pick up hot chocolate, a treat, and a list of houses decorated with lights in our community and beyond.
Please Note: We will be collecting food items to donate to the Backpack Society. Donating food items is completely optional, but feel free to drop something off as you pick up your hot chocolate, a treat, and a map. Click HERE for suggested food items.
What a gift our community is! Thank you all so much for your generosity and willingness to help support those that are less fortunate than we are. We were able to donate all of these presents to families in need! Thank you for helping us make someone else's holiday season a little brighter! Happy Holidays to all of you!
BASE is open everyday from 7am-5:30pm over break except for 12/24, 12/25 and 1/1. If you have any questions, please speak to Sara Rasmussen with the BASE program. Thank you so much.

Two students from TRHS are doing their senior project and collecting clothes for unhoused kids. Please consider bringing in your gently used or new warm clothing (hats, gloves, pants, sweaters, etc) to the box located by the front door at CCE.

The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) was given to all 6th graders and some 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students in mid November. If your student took CogAT, you should have received your child's scores in the mail over Thanksgiving Break.
If you would like to learn more about their scores and these scores are used in our school and district, please consider joining our Gifted and Talented Facilitator, Amber McFarland, for our Winter CogAT Parent Information Session.

It's the most wonderful time of the year and it's time to spoil or amazing CCE staff with another gift card tree! This has been a big hit with all our CCE staff and it only works because of all the amazing help from parents! The overall goal is to provide one $25 gift card to every employee who enters CCE (this includes Preschool, Aides, Custodial staff, Admin, Teachers, etc). Please spread the word and sign up for as many slots as you want! Remember, these are $25 gift card increments. Please deliver to me by Sunday, Dec. 15th. You can deliver to my doorstop and I will have a box on my front porch which I will check multiple times a day. Address is 10108 Silver Maple Circle. The Talent Show is coming up! This is one of our favorite events of the year! Sign ups are going on now. All grades and all talents welcome! Musical acts, comedy, dance routines, group skits, magic, hula hooping…the world is your oyster! CCE’s Got Talent will be held on Friday January 31st at Ranch View. There will be a rehearsal held earlier that week as well.
Please email Melissa Stillman (stillman.melissa@gmail.com), Anna Bracht (annakbracht@gmail.com) or Rachel Grundner (rachelgrundner@gmail.com) if your student wants to participate. Students do NOT need to know their act yet, this is just to indicate an interest in participating.

The Pop Tab Recycling Program is a fundraising project to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver. The Ronald McDonald Houses in Denver and Aurora serve as a home away from home for many families whose children are seriously ill and are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
How the program works
Aluminum beverage can tabs are collected and sold for cash. Also tabs from soup, tuna, and fruit etc. cans can be collected.
Please collect your tabs and bring them to the main office. Thank you so very much for helping!

Rent the rock and/or the school’s electronic marquee to recognize a student’s birthday, show school spirit, thank or recognize teachers or staff members, congratulatory events, etc. (Reservations for the marquee need to be made at least one week in advance. Also, marquee is not available on the weekends, during the summer or holidays when the school is closed.)
