A Message from Dr. Clark
March 14, 2025
Dear Holy Cross Community,
From the bottom of our hearts, we extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who played a part in making Celebration such a tremendous success. Whether you attended, volunteered, spread the word, or supported us in any way, your generosity and spirit of togetherness truly made a difference.
Thanks to the unwavering support of this incredible community, we not only reached but seems very likely we surpassed our goal! While our team is still working through the final outcomes, one thing is already clear—your kindness and commitment will have a lasting impact. The funds raised will help us continue providing the best possible Catholic education by supporting financial assistance for families and much-needed technology updates for our school.
The power of the Holy Cross community is undeniable, and Celebration was a shining example of what we can achieve when we come together in faith, love, and shared purpose. Thank you for believing in our mission and for being a part of something so special.
We also want to take a moment to congratulate all the students who received their Confirmation this past Monday. May the Holy Spirit guide and strengthen them on their journey of faith, filling their hearts with wisdom, courage, and love as they continue to grow in Christ.
As we head into spring break, I hope this time brings rest, renewal, and joy to our entire Holy Cross community. May it be an opportunity to recharge and spend cherished moments with loved ones. Please note that the school will be closed during this time, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, March 24 refreshed and ready for the remainder of the school year.
With heartfelt appreciation and best wishes,
Paola V. Clark, Ed.D.

Virtuous Formation Program/Education in Virtue
Holy Cross has adopted a School-Wide Positive Behavior Support System called the Be Holy Cross Virtuous Behavior Formation. Expectations are clearly defined under the “Be Holy Cross” framework. Students are expected to conduct themselves in keeping with the expectations set in this framework to be caring, responsible, obedient, and successful stewards. Individual, classroom, and school-wide expectations will be taught at the beginning of the school year and emphasized at various times. Students will be acknowledged for positive behaviors. This aligns with our annual theme: In a world where you can be anything...Be Holy Cross.
Education in Virtue is the Archdiocesan Catholic Social-Emotional Learning program, a key component of our Virtuous Formation Program. It provides a curriculum and resources developed by the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, based on St. Thomas Aquinas’ teachings on the virtues and gifts of the Holy Spirit. These resources provide a framework for helping people of all ages understand how to live more virtuously.
At Holy Cross, we highlight a virtue each month that is woven organically into lessons and our daily school life. They are used in our announcements to guide our morning prayer, selection of the Saint of the Month, activities for our Faith Families, and classroom lessons. The virtue of March is Moderation.
The Saint of the month is St. Therese of Lisieux.
