The Ambassadors are bringing back their "Feed Our Farmers" event on Sunday, October 6 held at the Murray County 4-H Building! Thank you to the Monogram Foods Loves Kids Grant for sponsoring this event again in 2024.

Pick up time will be from 4:30 - 5 p.m. with a meal consisting of walking tacos, dessert and beverage.

Discover the wild side at our thrilling wildlife and outdoor learning event! Whether you're curious or already immersed in wildlife, shooting sports, or outdoor adventures, this is your chance to dive into a day of exploration. What's on the agenda? Hunting dog safety & vet checks; water quality exploration; GPS and geocaching adventures; naturalist plant identification; and so much more!

Grades 3–13 will rotate through exciting educational sessions, while our Cloverbud track offers a special experience for our younger participants (with parents encouraged to join in!). Plus, your participation counts towards wildlife hours for shooting sports enthusiasts!

Time: 9 am to 1 pm

Location: West Central Research and Outreach Center, Morris, MN

Secure your spot—registration opens on August 1, 2024, and closes on September 20, 2024. Don't miss out; we're limiting this adventure to 75 participants. We need a minimum of 25 to make it happen!

Cost: $25 per participant; adults and volunteers are free. Check with your local extension office for potential reimbursement opportunities. Get ready for a wild ride!

If you are planning on being a member of Murray County 4-H, please login into 4-H Online starting September 15 and complete the re-enrollment process! If you know someone new, this would also be a perfect time to join! They would need to complete the full enrollment process for the youth or volunteer that is wanting to participate.

Join the Murray County 4-H Ambassadors! We meet typically once a month for leadership opportunities, youth engagement, ambassador outings and service projects. Youth grades 8 and up are invited to join the Murray County 4-H Ambassadors. Fill out the attached https://z.umn.edu/MC4HAmbassador24-25 or look for the first meeting in October and join us.

All ambassadors or those grades 8 + that are interested in learning more about the Murray County Ambassador program please join us Sunday, October 6, to build meals for Feed a Farmer. Meet at the 4-H Building from 3 - 5 p.m. Please contact Kim if you would like to be an ambassador but can't make the meeting.
