WHAT'S UP AT ERIN SCHOOL
WISCONSIN FORWARD TESTING REMINDER
3rd-8th grade students will be taking Wisconsin Forward Exams March 18th-April 15th. It is very important your child is in school testing days. The following are a few suggestions for helping your child do their best on the these exams:
Make sure your child gets an adequate amount of rest each night
a healthy diet is important at all times, but specific research suggests that students are able to perform better on tests if they have a well-balanced breakfast to begin the day
Tests are stress producers. Discuss the importance of doing well on tests, but too much discussion can be counterproductive so simply focus on encouraging your child to do their best
Student will also need to have wired headphones (not bluetooth) on testing day.
THANK YOU FROM THE PTC
Thank you to everyone who attended the "Family Movie Night" last Friday. It was wonderful to see families enjoying themselves!

THE FUN FAIR IS COMING!
The PTC is in the middle of planning the biggest annual fundraiser of the year, Fun Fair!
The 51st Annual Fun Fair will take place here on Saturday, April 12th and is a huge to-do. It is a carnival type event with games, prizes, food, 50/50 raffle, and a large silent auction.
For the silent auction, each grade/classroom has a theme and we ask families to donate
items that go with that theme if they would like to. These items are then used to help fill
the baskets that are auctioned off on that day. The PTC also gets many donations from
outside businesses; who very generously donate a variety of items.
Classroom theme flyers were sent home last week and copied below:
5K - Karbassi: Bucks & Packers
5K - Traina: Whiskers & Wags Pet Theme
1st - Plaza: Minecraft & Disney
3rd - Montey: Fun in the Sun (Beach/Water Play)
3rd - Hahn: Fun in the Sun (Beach/Water Play)
4th - Placek: Taylor Swift Eras
5th - Voss: Fishing, Camping & Hiking
5th - Posick: Fishing, Camping & Hiking
There are many families and staff within our school who own their own businesses or a
home- based business. (i.e, Tupperware, Thirty-One, Color Street, homemade crafts,
etc.) If this applies to you and you would like to make a donation to this year’s silent
auction, please contact the Silent Auction lead, Will Young at Will.Young.PGA@outlook.com. Please do not feel obligated or feel as though you have to donate. This is just to let us know who to contact if you are interested in doing so.

DON'T FORGET TO FILL OUT YOUR ERIN FAMILY ENGAGEMENT SURVEY
Dear Families of Students with Disabilities,
Please check your email inbox for an email titled "Erin Family Engagement Survey". This survey is for families of students with an IEP to complete and share their perspectives on how our school district partners with you to improve outcomes for your child. The survey takes 10 minutes. All information is anonymous and will be used as part of the Wisconsin DPI's report to the Office of Special Education Programs on how all schools throughout Wisconsin engage families in their child's education. Our district will receive a report if we have a minimum of 6 families respond. Please help by completing the Erin School Family Engagement Survey.
Thank you for your input!
