NEWS & INFORMATION
10/25/2024
We had an exciting and eventful week! Our 3rd-5th grade students enjoyed Miami Instrument Day, where they had the opportunity to try out different instruments. The five groups of instruments available for them to learn were: Violin, Viola, Cello; Flute and Clarinet; Bassoon and Oboe; Trumpet and French Horn; and Tuba and Bass. We’re also thrilled that STEM is back at Marshall! The students absolutely love when Mrs. Sebald is here to guide them through exciting hands-on learning experiences.
Additionally, Miami Swim and Dive team members visited our 1st and 2nd graders, reading to them and sharing their love for books. Our 3rd graders completed the fall round of the Ohio State Tests (OST). Finally, we held a PINK out day to show support and raise awareness for breast cancer. It was a wonderful week filled with learning, creativity, and community spirit
The district Diversity and Equity Committee is seeking representatives from the following areas: City of Oxford, Reily Township, Hanover Township, and Milford Township. The purpose of this committee is to develop, maintain, and uphold the district's Diversity Action Plan. We hope you will consider joining us for this important work! Please contact Beth Arnos at arnosb@talawanda.org or 513-273-3307 if interested.
PICK UP
To help ensure students arrive at their correct dismissal location, we kindly ask that you contact the main office by 2:30 PM if there are any changes to your child’s dismissal plan. While we understand that emergencies can happen, we’ve noticed a significant increase in last-minute changes around 3:00 PM, which can cause confusion and delays. By notifying us by 2:30 PM, we can make sure your child receives a dismissal note and reaches the right spot after school. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
