SCHOOL IS OUT!!

Remember that school is out on September 2nd & 3rd. The 2nd we are closed for Labor Day and teachers have professional development on the 3rd. We'll see our Heroes on Wednesday!

Hat Day this Friday!!

Students & staff can pay $1 to wear a hat. All the proceeds go to the Arkansas chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

6th gr. ELA

Students discussed meta-cognition and how this makes us better readers. There was some GREAT discussion happening!

Lots of discussion and brainstorming going on about the commutative property of addition.

7th Science

Students worked collaboratively & used the engineering design process to create a structure that would hold books four inches off the table. They could only use one piece of paper & 2ft. of masking tape....the record was 19 books!
