TEXT Message Updates
Parents and community members can now sign up to receive SMS text message notifications from the Anchorage School District. ASD will use this service to communicate school closure information and general district news. Family Partnership will also have the option to send out messages about information or events specific to our school.
The texting option is only available through an opt-in process. Users can opt-out at any time. This service is not intended to replace existing communications (District & FPCS Websites and S'more Newsletters), but rather help enhance them. Closure notifications will continue to be shared via the district’s website, customer service line 742-4000, ASD social media accounts, ASD-TV cable channel 14 and local news media.

Notice to parents
2015 Interscholastic Athletic Interest Survey – Grades 8 – 11 only
The 2015 Interscholastic Athletic Interest Student Survey is being administered to students to provide schools with information about student interests in athletics. This is an annual survey implemented and analyzed jointly by the ASD departments of Equal Employment Opportunity, Secondary Education and Assessment and Evaluation. This survey is a tool for understanding what interests our students have and how we can better serve their interests, while also meeting the federal requirements for Title IX. The survey window will be open between October 5 and 23 of 2015.
The questions contained in the student questionnaire ask about student interest in athletic opportunities. This message serves as a notice to parents about this upcoming survey.
- The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
- Other than the first three questions (school, gender or grade), if a student is uncomfortable with a question they are welcome to skip it and move on with the survey.
Please follow or type this link to review the survey:
