Mr. Mannings Message (MMM)
Principal's Message
Welcome back, students, parents, and community members!
As we step into September, I want to emphasize the importance of "Attendance Awareness Month." We are launching an exciting incentive program to encourage our students to achieve 100% attendance this month. Parents, your support is crucial in making this a success, and we need your help to ensure our students are present and ready to learn every day.
Additionally, we're thrilled to share that our homecoming dates and events are just around the corner. Please keep an eye out for the flyer below for all the details. Your participation and support in these events make a significant impact on our school spirit and community.
August has come and gone, and with it, our baseline testing. The next round of formative assessments is scheduled for October. In the meantime, I expect our students to be fully engaged in learning, and I'm confident that my dedicated staff will continue to do all they can to support every student's academic journey.
If you have any concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me or one of my assistant principals. Let's work together to ensure the best outcomes for our students.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and let's make this a fantastic month for learning and growth!
Sincerely,
Principal David Manning

Perfect Attendance Challenge: "Strive for 5"

At the end of September, all students who maintained perfect attendance throughout the month are eligible for the grand prize. We will allow special school privileges (e.g., front-row parking in Mr. Manning, Mrs. Cortes, and Mrs. Ryans' spot, free entry to homecoming events), or we will have some special, but we can't tell now.
Bonus Challenge:
For the month of October, we encourage students to create teams (e.g., by grade level or homeroom), and we will offer a reward to the group with the highest overall attendance percentage by the end of the month. Let's go, NHHS teachers. "Post that Attendance." Don't be a sore loser!
Let's Get Engaged To WIN!!
