Class of 2026 (Incoming Freshmen) Important News
FISH CAMP
Fish Camp for the Class of 2026 will be held on Thursday, August 4th. Incoming freshmen will become acquainted with our beautiful building, and will meet some new friends. We will have some of our teachers here along with student mentors to introduce the incoming freshmen to high school at Seven Lakes. Some of our clubs and organizations will be represented as well. No registration is required! Students may purchase their first Class of 2026 T-shirt for $20 at Fish Camp. The Class of 2026 T-shirts will also be on sale at Parent Fish Camp and Spartan Spectacular.

Parent Fish Camp is a time for us to review with parents some of the information we presented to the students during the day. It will be held on Thursday, August 4th at 6:30 pm in the Performing Arts Center. Due to limited space, we ask that the students not attend this meeting.

Monday August 15, 2022, 4:00pm-5:30pm, followed by a Pep Rally in the Rotunda AT 5:30 pm and Open House at 6:00pm. More information will be sent in the SLHS campus enews.

Senior Class of 2023 - Information
Attention seniors, parents, and guardians: It is now time to schedule your senior portraits through Cady! You must have your portrait taken by Cady to be in the yearbook!
***If you only want a picture for the yearbook a date will be set sometime in the fall for CADY studios to come on campus to take a single picture that will be included in the yearbook. You will not be able to purchase the picture or choose the best pose at that time.

Senior Parking Lot Painting
Senior Reserved Painting
Seniors who purchase a reserved spot will be able to personalize their space. Students may only use the paint provided by the school.
You can be creative or just add your name to your spot!
Please park in a general spot and walk up to your spot. Painting block is 15” by 30”. You may use or make stencils and should draw out your design to make sure it will fit. We will supply the white and brushes. Wear paint clothes and bring an old towel.
Any unauthorized words or designs will be painted over and will result in a forfeiture of a reserved space. See the sample below.

- Monday, August 8, 7pm-8:30pm
- Monday, August 22, 7pm-8:30pm
- Wednesday, September 7, 7pm-8:30pm
- Other dates are to be determined.
STUDENT PARKING SALES
Student Parking Sales begin soon!
Seniors and juniors who wish to drive to campus should preregister and pay online. Senior parking sales will start Wednesday, August 3, at 8am, by appointment only. Junior parking sales will start Friday, August 5, at 8am, by appointment only.
Students can find the preregistration and the payment links on the parking website: https://www.katyisd.org/domain/4273.
The sign-up genius link for appointments is posted on the parking website for seniors now and will be posted for juniors on August 3 at 1pm.
At this time, only seniors and juniors may purchase parking.

Class shirts are on sale now through August 15 through Pay N’ Go. Please visit https://katyisd.revtrak.net/high-schools/seven-lakes-high-school/slhs-student-activity-clubs/#/list and select your student’s class to purchase their shirt.
Shirts will be delivered during lunches once school begins.
Senior class shirt information will be available at a later date.
Help Needed!
The class of 2025 will be selling Papa John's pizza during lunches on Thursdays beginning in September. We need 2-3 volunteers to help with organizing and planning.

The Seven Lakes Symphony Orchestra competed in the Texas Music Educators Association’s Honor Full Orchestra Competition and earned a fantastic ranking of #2 in the state.
Directors Desiree Overree, John Mays, and Sean Carlton are so proud of these remarkable musicians!
SPARTAN SUCCESS AT UCA CHEER CAMP
Your Spartan cheerleaders travelled to Moody Gardens this past week to participate in an annual UCA Cheer Camp. Your Spartan cheerleaders came together and lived out their long standing motto of We above Me to make Spartan Nation proud.

Your Seven Lakes High School Wrestling Team is looking for more Spartans to be a part of the fun and success!
We are looking for boys and girls of all sizes, shapes, and athletic abilities. There is no body type that we can’t work with and we have never cut anyone. No experience is necessary. All we need is a positive attitude and some grit.
We are coming off another great season where we won 4 out of 5 team divisions at the District Championships including both Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls, all with wrestlers that started their careers in 9th grade or after.

We are on a quest to get the 2022 cross country teams back to the state cross championships and we want you to be part of it!!
We're looking for students that want to achieve that winning edge that will help them succeed in our sport as well as other sports and in the classroom!
The official 2022 Cross Country season begins on August 1st. We will meet in football meeting room behind the main weight room!
Come out for cross country each morning at 7am at the SLHS track and be a part of something great!

The Seven Lakes Cross Country Boys Team has an outstanding tradition of success over the past 17 years with 7 District Team Champions, 6 District Individual Champions, 55 All District performances, 3 Regional Runner Up Teams, 4 Region Team Champions, 2 Region Individual Champions, 15 All Region performances, 17 State Meets, 11 All-State performances, 1 Team State Runner-Up, and 1 Team State champions.
The Seven Lakes Cross Country Girls’ Team has also had an outstanding tradition of success with 6 District Team Champions, 3 District Individual Champions, 53 All District performances, 5 Regional Runner Up Teams, 3 Region Team Champions, 2 Region Individual Champions, 13 All Region performances, 16 State Meets, and 3 All State performances.
