Term 4 - Week 1, 20th October 2022
Here is a beautiful photo of our awesome teachers. In the school holidays, we went to Te Puia for the Te Ahu o te reo Māori course. We worked very hard to learn te reo Māori and how to speak te reo Māori!
Welcome back to Term 4.
We are looking forward to welcoming our whānau tomorrow for Greats and Grans morning. We had to cancel this event last year due to COVID restrictions so we are really looking forward to having our visitors at school on Friday.
Tomorrow you are also able to collect the Parental Request forms from the office to help us with class placements for 2023. It is particularly important this year if you would like your child placed in a bilingual class that you indicate this on that form. We organise the classes for next year well before the end of the year so if you would like to fill in one of these forms please hand it to the office by Friday 11th November.
At the moment we are going to offer a bilingual class at the Year 3 and Year 4 level and if there is enough interest at the Year 5 and Year 6 level we could possibly also have one at this level.
Ngā mihi nui
