Students Explore the Arts
Students explored more than 35 art sessions during the D103 PTO-sponsored Explore the Arts Day event at Daniel Wright last week. Explore the Arts is a time dedicated to art, digital art and technology, music, dance, and drama. The morning was focused on students learning hands-on from artists about printmaking, improvisation, drawing, dance exploration, cookie decorating, 3D printing, and more. Thank you to the PTO representatives, Mrs. Marissa Grossenbach and Mrs. Maria Peterson, as well as Performing Arts teacher Mrs. Ioana Ligdas, for organizing the artists and setting up the day for students to enjoy! Please visit the school's Google Doc folder for pictures of the event.
