Summer Learning Opportunities
Summer Edition 2024
Summer Reading is Critical & Rewarding

Cabarrus County Library Summer Reading Program
Cabarrus County Public Library is proud to present its 2024 Summer Reading Program. This year will feature a variety of new and popular guests and staff-presented programs with activities like crafting, learning, and using the power of imagination!
Through the free Beanstack app (also accessible via web browser), participants can track their reading and participate in challenges from their mobile device. The app allows users to:
• Scan barcodes to quickly add titles to reading logs
• Track total minutes read through timed reading sessions
• View personal reading statistics and complete related activities
This year’s challenge allows participants to complete the program with reading alone, or a combination of reading and activities. Log a set number of hours to reach the halfway point and win a prize. Then read the same number of hours again or read three more hours and complete three activities to win another prize.
To participate, visit a Cabarrus County library branch to register for a library card or make sure your existing card is up to date. Then sign up for your Beanstack account at cabarruscounty.beanstack.com/reader365.
- Reading logs will be available at all five Cabarrus library branches, or online from the County’s Summer Reading Program website.
