News and Events You Can Use
On Stage
The lighthearted, middle school focused messages of "Dear Edwina Jr.", performed this past weekend were a hit with adolescent and adult audiences alike. From acting to choreography to set design to technical support – the cast, crew, directors, and parent volunteers made "Dear Edwina Jr." a roaring success!
Mapping it Out
Congratulations to 6th grader Gavin Smith (right) on being a runner-up in the Map Man contest. The Junior Scholastic “Find Map Man” contest gives participants questions to challenge their social studies and geography awareness and tasks them with finding “Map Man” based on the clues. Then students create original art showing their findings.
Abounding Appreciation!

Rising 7th Grader Immunization Requirements
Each year 7th graders are required to show proof of required immunizations by the start of the 23-24 school year. We’re providing early notification of the requirements on the English and Spanish documents attached below.
iReady End-of-Year Diagnostics May 10 and 11
The two end-of-year iReady assessments are an opportunity for us to measure student growth for the year. We use iReady data for course placements, summer school considerations for students performing 2 years below grade level, and for our school's academic goals. For students whose end-of-year tests show expected growth, we're treating them to Kona Ice on May 15th. Thanks for helping us to support students in doing their best!
Student Device Return May 18
All students will return their school-issued laptop and charger on May 18th. Students with hotspots should return them on May 17th. If you need to pay for a lost or damaged item, please contact Mrs. Gunter in the media center.
