From the Middle EMS and ELA
News from the Principal, May 21, 2020
Hello Parents and Families,
As we finish up these last few days, I wanted to share with you some messages from a few of our departing staff.
We wish all the best to our two retirees: Cheryl Cambra and Lori Lauer. After many years of dedication to our students in Englewood, we are excited to celebrate their retirement.
Also, we are happy to share some news about our assistant principal Cindy Chick. Cindy will be moving on to Colorado's Finest High School of Choice as the new principal. While we are very sad to see Cindy leave the EMS/ELA team, we are so excited for her work in Englewood Schools at our alternative high school down the road.
If you weren't able to attend the device collection yesterday, please see the information below.
8th grade continuation certificates that were not picked up yesterday will be mailed. Please make sure that your address in Infinite Campus is updated.
School is now out for the summer. The buildings will all be closed until further notice. I will communicate any news about the next school year through this newsletter format and I will keep you informed as often as I have new, pertinent information.
Please continue to check our websites as well.
We wish you a peaceful and healthy summer. Please let us know of your needs as they arise.
If at anytime, you have questions, please email me.
~Annessa Hart, Principal
Ms. Lauer - Congratulations on your retirement!
It has been an honor to be a part of the Englewood Community for the past 15 years. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to work so long in such a caring and supportive community. I am excited to be a full time babysitter to my grandchildren starting in June but it is bittersweet to leave such a fabulous school and such wonderful families. I wish you all a safe summer and I look forward to hearing how everyone is doing as the year moves forward.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Congratulations on your retirement, Ms. Cambra!
Congratulations Ms. Chick and best of luck at Colorado's Finest!
