Santa Cops GC Drive Ends Friday
The Santa Cops Challenge will end this Friday, November 22nd. Drop off your gift Cards with the SRO. School winner will be announced that evening to make sure the losing principal has enough time to get his vocal chords ready!

FMHS Hall of Fame Nominations OPEN
Flower Mound High School is excited to announce we are now accepting nominations for the 2024-25 FMHS Hall of Fame. Induction into the FMHS Hall of Fame shall be awarded to former students of Flower Mound High School who are true role models and whose achievements, character, and service to others serve as an inspiration to our students today.
Criteria to be considered for this award include:
- Graduate of FMHS
- Must be out of high school for a minimum of 10 years.
- Achievements in their chosen field
- Service to community and/ or country
- Personal Accomplishments
- Contributions to society
- Role model for youth

2024-2025 Spring STAAR & End-of-Course (EOC) Paper by Request (HB 1225)
If a student receives Special Education or 504 services and is requesting a paper test, please contact the appropriate campus ARD or 504 committee. There is a different process and form for those requests.
. A request for a paper administration of spring STAAR High School EOCs and spring STAAR grades 3-8 must be submitted by 4 PM on December 1st and will be considered on a first come, first serve basis. The number of students who are provided a Paper by Request administration of STAAR may not exceed 3% of the number of eligible students testing.
Applicants will be notified of status by 4 PM on December 13, 2024.

Bowling for Scholars
Let the good times roll, it’s time to bowl! Bowling for Scholars is the LISD Council of PTAs’ annual fun-draiser—we celebrate LISD and raise money for 10 LISD senior scholarships. Build your team however you like: classmates, family, friends, coworkers, your local PTA, or a combination of them all. Wear your school/PTA shirts loud and proud, because there will be prizes!

MLK, Jr. Contest/Ceremony
Students at FMHS are encouraged to display their gifts and talents as a way to connect with Dr. King's legacy. Students can submit in the categories of Art, Essay, 3D Art, and Graphic Design/Photography.
All entries must be turned in at the Lewisville Administration Building, Room 209. Please note, the deadline for contest entry is Friday, December 13, 2024.

Congratulations FMHS Band!
The FMHS Band had an amazing weekend in San Antonio. They are the 2024 Champions for Bands of America, and they took bronze at the 2024 UIL State Marching Contest! We are so proud of them and know how hard they worked to achieve these awards. Congratulations!

FMHS Student Athletes
Congratulations to our student athletes that announced their colleges/universities for next year. We wish them much luck and success for the future!
FMHS Model UN
Last weekend, our Model UN club participated in our first conference (Dallas Area Model UN conference) at Uplift North Hills Preparatory High School. We had a blast representing different countries in various committees, and two of our officers, Ani Subramanian and Shruthi Avuthu, received awards for their performances in their committees!
Orchestra Students Advance to Pre-Area Round
Orchestra Students have finished their audition Process for the 24-25 Region Orchestras. This took place at Byron Nelson HS and is also their first step in their All-State Process. We are happy to report that 49 students were accepted, and they represent 37% of the entirety of students accepted from the Region and earned 40% of the spots available in the next pre-Area Round (highest in the Region on both accounts). Students from FMHS also earned principal chairs (rank 1) on every instrument.
Circle of Friends Big Fundraiser
Circle of Friends' big fundraiser is underway and we need your help reaching our goal! Our Fundraiser helps us to pay for amazing activities and events like the Grand Ball, dance parties and our very own Life Skills Graduation ceremony in the FMHS Cafeteria!

Student Parking Permit
FMHS Parking Permit Form and Payment

ALL Vehicles that park on campus must have a current parking sticker. This includes seniors that have purchased a painted or numbered parking spot. Students need to make sure they park in designated student parking lots.
When the parking pass is assigned to the student, an email will be sent to the student's LISD email, and the student may pick up the parking pass in the front office.
Absences/Tardies
Parent/Guardian emails (from the email address we have on file) may also be accepted on the morning of early release. Please allow 2 hours for possible system holdups and include legal name of student, student ID number, exact time leaving, and reason for leaving.
**IMPORTANT TARDY POLICY: Students are allowed one tardy per semester.
- 2nd tardy results in detention.
- 7th tardy WED/SAT School.
- 10th tardy ISS.

ID Badge Information
Parents/Students:
- Students will NOT be allowed in the building without a current ID around their neck.
- $5.00 will be assessed in Skyward every time a student has to purchase a new ID from the front office.
- Parents can access/pay fees by clicking on "Fee Management" in Skyward Family Access, full website version - not the app. Payments will only be accepted online.
- Fees can also be found in your LISD RevTrak Account select 1:X & Skyward Fee Payments
- Please contact your child's Assistant Principal if you need to pay by cash or check.

Student Drop Off and Pick Up
This is a reminder of our lots that are designated for student drop off. You can find those lots by accessing the attachment. The designated drop off lanes are marked in yellow. DO NOT use the lanes marked in red. We appreciate your assistance in helping us make our drop-off and pick up times safe and efficient for all.
Proper pick up and drop off locations for FMHS:
- West Parking Lot (Senior Lot / Auditorium Entrance, off Peter’s Colony Rd) – please drop off and pick up in this location.
- South Parking Lot (Football Field / South Field House, off Old Settlers Rd.) – you may pick up and drop off at this location also. (not shown on the map)
Areas that are Prohibited for Student Pick up or Drop off:
- Bus Loop / Faculty Parking area off Old Settlers Rd.
- Front Office Loop / Faculty and Guest Parking area off of Peter’s Colony – this is an area for drop off only for students with special physical needs & injuries (crutches / wheelchair / etc...)
- Baseball/Softball/Tennis off Peter’s Colony Rd. – this is ONLY drop off for athletes who have 1st period athletics in this area. Parking is only for softball, baseball, and tennis athletes.
There is a significant safety concern for our students and staff when these guidelines are not followed.

Canvas is a digital learning management system, or LMS, used by schools, educators, students and families. Users access and manage online learning materials, communicate about skill development and learning achievement.
Here Comes the Bus App
This tool provides LISD students and their families access to real-time location updates of their school bus.
The app provides:
- Location of a student's bus both before and after school;
- Confirmation a student's bus has arrived at the bus stop, at school, or both;
- Push notifications or email messages when the bus is near a student's stop, if a bus has been replaced with a backup, or when Texas Central School Bus has important information to relay.
