From Doan's Desk...
Our homecoming week (October 14th - 19th) is getting closer!
We started the year feeling like there was more than enough time to get ready and now we are less than a month away. Between the dress-up days, evening events, and our special schedule on Friday there is a lot of buildup and excitement for the week. Check out the calendar of events for a quick reference of our plans and how everyone (students, parents, and staff) will be involved throughout the week.
Our big community event is going to be our first-ever Homecoming Parade. We are close to finalizing our plans for the parade and it looks like we will be starting at Superior Elementary on Wednesday, October 16th at 4:54pm. The parade will head down Indiana and end at ElDorado K8.
We are excited for our Monarch Mayhem to be on full display.
Have a great week and Sko Yotes!

Parking Passes
All vehicles that park on campus must be registered with the school and have a paid parking permit displayed on their windshield.
- Households can request more than one sticker if students drive multiple cars.
- Cars that are not registered will be ticketed and eventually towed if they do not register.
PARKING PERMITS & REGISTRATION
STEP 1- Click one of the links below to purchase your parking permit.
STEP 2-Complete the Parking Permit form to register your car and driver (this form is also linked on RevTrak).
BOTH STEPS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE A PERMIT WILL BE ISSUED.
**Permits can be picked up from the treasurer's office.
NHS Tutoring
All NHS members can earn tutoring hours by signing up for 1:1 tutoring. 1:1 tutoring involves helping a student one on one with a specific subject. This is also a great opportunity for students who would like to be tutored in a certain class. The forms below can be filled out by either a student in NHS looking to help or a student who would like tutoring.
Unified Flag Football Event
Fairview HS hosted all of us and it was the district’s first time giving flag football a try. It was amazing! The district partnered with Special Olympics Colorado to get new jerseys and equipment to make the event extra special! Students had a choice to play football, be a cheerleader, or help coach. It was a great day for BVSD’s Unified program!
